I love your home-built Calliope Dan! The sound is just magically evocative of a bygone age! It looks so beautiful too! Presumably the roll mechanism is running off battery here?
Thanks, Peter. The roll frame is run by 110 volt main line power through a transformer to a small dc motor, you can see power cord on the ground, just behind the rear tire.
