  • You're right, it's not flat, but it IS tyre!!

  • Front tyre is flat.

  • @ZeekWolfe1

Oh good grief, it is NOT flat!!!!!

    And it's tire, NOT tyre.

  • @DZAUTO Entschuldigen Sie bezuglich meine Sprachlehre und Rechtschreibfehler. Jedoch hier Sie brauchen Anfuhrungszeichen fur tire. And its "tire", NOT tyre.

  • @DZAUTO If you're American, it's tire. If you're English (and don't forget, it has been our language a good deal longer than yours), it's tyre.

  • @junkers290 We are terribly sorry about the confusion with our language. We have windshields, not windscreens, and hoods, not bonnets, and cigarettes, not fags.

Your language was here longer, but we still drive on the right side of the road! Hah! :)

  • @brasso4u One of the best comparisons of American and English that I've heard goes as follows: Americans call a slut a tramp, a tramp a bum, a bum a fanny and a fanny a pussy. There are plenty more that you could have said, you have trunks, not boots, fenders, not wings, gas, not petrol. I like this diversity. If we all said everything the same, how boring would that be. Also, I have driven cars in America and Europe, and I prefer driving on the right side of the road in a left hand drive car.

  • @junkers290 Well said!

  • @DZAUTO Tyre is the british spelling.

  • Some engines do not have a primer system, so the mixture is set very rich during cranking. After several turns, fuel begins to run out the exhaust stacks, then the mixture is leaned out while still cranking until it eventually fires.

So, yes, that's raw fuel that is puddling under the engine.

  • @DZAUTO thought so. I'm going to modify my car so that it's startup procedure produces a puddle of raw fuel. Should excite the naiborhood tremendously.

  • @Polybun Hell yeah! And cut off the muffler too and add a smoke system! My old smoky wore out RX-7 motor did wonders for the gas station attendants! I loved the look on their faces when I fueled up! Then I went to Wyotech with it and the rest of my class nicknamed me "Spyhunter" because of the mass amounts of smoke it poured out at freeway speeds. Smoked out all four lanes of I-80 once too. Good times.

  • I wonder what the growing puddles of liquid that apear during cranking are. Is that fuel out of the exaughst?

  • @Polybun their priming the engine.

  • THE LADY WAS NOT ORIGINAL FOUND THAT OU AND HRAPM hamilton musuem

  • @birdboy10

    HUH??????????????????????????

  • Shame I wasn't in Tulsa back then, I would've loved to see this bird.

Does Riverside hold any annual airshows/fly-ins?

  • Sounds a lot like my Harley

  • You must be kidding!!! MONIE! Exactly THIS A-26 I have at home (well, yes plastic kit 1:72, made by AIRFIX :-) Night camouflage from Korea war...

  • Sorry, I'm not understanding what you're trying to say?????

  • Sorry, I was too excited :-D I just have plastic scale model of this aircraft. First I was sure that I have model of the A26 from this video. But now I see I was wrong. It has the same camouflage, but it is different piece. Damn... Now it looks like I've lost my mind :-D

  • If you'll notice, it has Lady Liberty painted on the nose-------------------thus, it's NOT Spirit of Waco.

  • during WWII my father navigated one of these with a pilot from Miami to Brazil, across the Atlantic, across Africa, and eventually landed at Abadan, Iran, to hand it over to the Russians.

  • I saw this plane at Terre Haute, Indiana Hulman field 2008 at a reenactment show.. Man it's fast. One of the crewmen told me it could out run a P51.

    Thanks for posting.

  • lol wow

  • oh, thanks

  • What kind of pratt & whitney engines are in the a-26?

  • The A-26 used P&W R2800 engines, which is a 2 row, 18 cylinder engine and has a 2-stage supercharger in the rear case.

  • Which where the same engines that were fitted onto the f7f tigercat and the p-47 thunderbolt. This engine was pretty popular.

  • didnt the b17 use the same engine? or was it the wasp engine?

  • I can't say I have ever seen an A-26. Looks like a wicked machine.

  • There is one floating around the email system with a guy in front mooning the photographer-----in flight!

  • Yep! as my grandpa would say "It's a real hotrod!"

  • B-17s had single row, 9cyl engines. The A-26 had 2 row, 18cyl engines. So, basically, the A26 had the same amount of engines as a B-17 in just 2 engines, could carry about the same bomb load, had just one gunner operating 2 remote control turrets and it was a smaller, faster plane (3-4 crew members depending on mission compared to 10 crew on a B-17).

  • wonderful I saw the Red Bull B26 (similar plane with different tactical equipment) it was wonderful the air was vibrating...I am big admirer of these old piston engined planes. And I like the flag which stands for freedom and democracy...thats not mend as a political statement..thx for the video

  • Hey DZ--great stuff! Love those old planes and cars!

  • Sweet
