I'm confused so in Vanilla Org and SW were the core of players, BC, Shat WotLK, Dal Then Cata went back to Org/SW? I believe the reason cities are so populated in expansion because their new and closest you'll get to the quests needed. And Org/SW is so populated because of the portals to Cata zones

@SkippyToDaBaNaNa yeah, during TBC, shattrath was incredibly busy like orgrimmar or stormwind, because it had portals to all the horde cities and had factions that you needed rep with. But now it really is a ghost town, this video is spot on tbh. If you ever want to go to shatt, its in the northwest part of terrokar forest. you can fly there from thrall'mar or the hellfire peninsula alliance place (not really sure what it's called, i hate the alliance)

The newer Expansions has been so much better when you actually think of it. Much better content, more balance, better scaling in everything. More stuff to do.

The only reason you remember TBC as a good expansion is becus it was the first one.. Everyone was totally hyped cus they had never tried one before, thinking like "Woooow totally new stuff this is so sweet"... The only difference since TBC is your excitement lacking.

Actually, TBC was the best to most people because it fixed a lot of broken things, streamlined the game and added arenas. The other expansions have made the game different in various ways but TBC gets the lightest rap because it really didn't try to step on anyone's toes.

WotLK was far too easy in most respects but made some worthwhile improvements and Cata is going in the right direction, with the dungeon mechanics becoming trickier, but they still feel kinda easy.
