The problem with clicking in pvp especially is it slows down your ability to turn and pop buffs and CDs not on the global cooldown. (such as icy veins)

A clicker in pvp is simply not viable against a keybinder

clicking is noticeably slow in PvP and you cant just make macros because just say you want to counterspell something and it has a 1.5 second cast and you clicked a spell on the other side of your screen its slower to click counterspell then to press a button, also when you click you have to look at the spell your clicking and can't keep an eye on your enemy, so what if they faked the cast to get you to use counterspell and you didn't see it because you were too busy looking at counterspell

I've actually seen a mage that was lvl 60 critting on pom frosts for like 4.4k idk how but he just pressed 1 macro and bam 4.4k crit lol. I think deep arcane with just enough for IV would be great for a troll mage which is what I have that's what I'm doing at 70 since there is a way to get gear that gives mages 16k hp self-buffed 6.8k mana 600 sp dmg and 30% base crit... so yeah on CC procs when you pop those AM with IV and berserking with trinkets...
