  • Made me smile :) from one musician to another.... Nice!

  • The sound is clipping far too much other than that it's a great demo

  • lets go sit INFRONT of the couch haha

  • thanks man nice vibe you share :)

  • peerfect!

  • Yeaah! really cool song! could you upload a video teaching how to play it or something?

  • Whoever gave this clip a thumbs down does not have an idea about reggae & melodica! This brethren is GODLY gifted to play this unique instrument... JOB EXTREMELY WELL DONE... JAH BLESS... RrrrrrrasTafari Selassie I. LIVE...

  • @RasRedbone Rock on Brudha, I figured whoever took the time to click a thumbs down didn't take the time to ever play a Melodica. Keep your positive energy going, I dig it

  • sweetness!! i play the piano and i just found out what a melodica is. it was like 5 min. ago on "who wants to be a millionaire"; it described it as a wind piano, so i googled it and melodica came up. so i youtubed some videos to see how it sounded and yours, wow, pretty chill dude, one of the best on here. i like the breaks and chops you put in starting @ 1:19. i think i might have to get one!!! reggae sounds really good on this instrument, especially ur style! keep it up, kool!

  • @jquick8888 I've never heard it described as a "wind piano", but thats a pretty cool story of how you ended up at my video. Glad you liked it, and don't forget that anybody could play this with a little practice (and a Melodica)

  • I got a melodica because of your videos. And I made a youtube account just to tell you how great your music is. Thank you.

  • @Intrestednodoubt17 Wow, that is just about the coolest thing I have ever heard from anybody on here. Thanks very much!

  • yes hiiiii respect man

  • excuse me, can you tell me wich model melodica is it please? thanks

  • irie mi lion!

  • wicked! the melody u are playing is from a tune i have on 12" starting 36secs that tune

  • dude, totally sounds like austus pablo! sounds great

  • nice tune, raspect! Big UP!

  • this is sooo mellow man, also you got skills to pay the bills....do you busk?

  • This inspired me to get a hohner melodica like yours!! Now I just have to learn to play this awesome tune. Just need to watch your video 200x more. Great!

  • Nice bro! Just learn your chords and scales. This is in F minor. I learned piano by just watching videos over and over, so I know it can work for you. Rock on!

  • @MrUkeDave my same thoughts we share. Either this, dave , or a hulusi would go crazy with a uke

  • yeah, respect!

    bless

  • cool..

  • Mate, this is fantastic.

  • Glad you dig it. Its just an F minor to either C minor, or B flat minor with different arpeggiations.

  • is that a song from augustus pablo?

  • Naw, just something I came up with.

  • This is tight. Get yourself a nice mic and a program to do some distortions, Im thinking the overdrive im hearing plus a few other things would sound epic. And of course, add drums and bass to it.

  • I dig it, the overdrive from the microphone gives it a great tone. Keep it up, vibratin, vibratin, vibratin

  • good song man! great melody!

    bless! keep the vibe!

  • hey man thats good as, keep up the good work!

  • you can do it my friend !

    this is just awesome,

this is one of my fav. videos.

    BIG UP!

  • awesome, i can hear this in my head with the bass and drums under it sounding real awesome as a ska/reggae/dub jam.

    big ups

  • cool. glad you liked it. i too can hear it with the bass and drums underneath, however i have yet to find the means to make that a reality.

  • okej thank you for te answer really need to learn how to plat now that i see you play! bless a rub a dub from sweden stockholm

  • whats the name of that melodica and how many tabs are that? 35?

  • Its a Hohner 26, the older kind. Its a great investment, I would recommend getting one

  • can you giveme the "acordes"?, i can´t see good, tanks and good vibration

  • I do a F minor to either C minor or B flat minor. But i do different inversions and mix it up

  • u go man lol lov3 it -p3ac3

  • that was radical...... i been wantin an melodica for a while

  • RESPECT

  • nuts dude. check Augustus Pablo

  • I've been lookin at melodicas lately... thinking about getting one. You pretty much rocked it... what do you think? should i get one, and any reccommendations if so?

  • Well of course I recommend getting a melodica. This particular model is a Hohner Model 26 (the older variety). I have a few other melodicas, but this is by far my favorite. If you have the money to get a new one, go to Hohners website and pick one up. Otherwise Ebay is a great place to find one. Anywhere from $30 to $70, depending on the size and brand. And practice practice practice, thats the only way to get good. Hope it helps! :)

  • Thank you! So, what kind of music can be played with a melodica?

  • awesome playing

    sweet tune

    shitty mic, or sound quality

id like to hear this nicer, it would sound awesome

  • Wow, that was awesome! How do you play that? And what kind do you have? It looks exactly like mine, which I inherited off of a dead woman.

  • well thank you, its a hohner 26 i believe. i hope that you didnt "bump off" this woman simply to get her melodica! glad you liked it

  • Yep, that's the same one I have. You inspired me to make my own raggae-like tune. Maybe I'

ll post it, but it isn't so good.

  • Dont worry if its good or not, get your music out there if you can. Reggae isnt a super complicated style to play, its all in the "feeling" and timing. You could just bounce back and forth between a minor and major (i.e. F minor to E flat major is what i did in this video). Listening to reggae is probably the best way to learn how to play it. Good luck!

  • Thanks for the tips!

  • nice playing how much u have playing tha melodicah... jahh bleesss

  • ive been playing for about 4 years now. the only way to get better is to keep practicing. glad you liked it :)

  • dude another question where u find partitures or where i can start in some way i want to play the same song ur playing

  • preety cool dude!!!

    nicah melodicah!

  • dude.. totally rockin.. i just bought my first melodica, still waiting for it to be delivered. great control over the rhythm and the melody.. write some more songs!!!

  • Freakin' awesome... I love the sound of the melodica

  • can you make a instructional video,i just got a melodica yesterday and i cant find any good instructional videos.

  • good work...try to put a band under it..

  • Agustus Pablo eat your heart. I would love to play the melodica but the come at a price. Maybe £50 -£150 or thereabouts. Yeah hohners sound way better in my opinion. Thanks for posting.

  • glad you enjoyed it. but you can get a decent melodica on ebay for $50. thats like 25 pounds. its definitely worth the investment :)

  • I have bought soprano button hohners for less than £10 on eBay.

  • this is so cool what does a melodica cost and where are you lockatet cos here in iceland they kost about 200 dollars and i am not happy about thed

  • you can get them on ebay for less than $50, depending on what kind you get. i recommend getting a "hohner", they are the best in my opinion. i live in california, so its not a problem to get one of these delivered. rock on! :)

  • cool man did you come up with it yourself?

  • yeah i did, glad you liked it
