@milica95flora It's not NCIS LA that killed Melrose Place, Melrose Place killed itself when it couldn't stand up well in the ratings. Take a lesson in TV business, ratings kill shows, if a show can't perform, it's gone. NCIS LA had nothing to do with your precious Melrose Place getting taken out.

@milica95flora And also, NCIS LA and Melrose Place aren't even on the same network, NCIS LA is CBS and Melrose Place is CW, and no offense but Melrose Place had a 1.25 million viewership, it was never gonna make it anyways with that kind of ratings even on the CW. @milica95flora Yes they were on at the same time, but so were other shows as well, not just NCIS LA and Melrose Place, and traditionally CW doesn't do well, it's simply how network ratings work out. And once again, show cancellations standards are different every network so each shows on each network are competing against their own network, not other networks. Unfortunately MP was not a strong enough show. NCIS was competing against American Idol for more than 8 years and it still kept going.

Just so you NCIS:LA haters know, NCIS was hated on severely by the JAG fans. Gibbs was especially despised because of the way he handled Cmdr. Rabb in interrogation in JAG's "Ice Queen." NCIS:LA is only in its first season. Jeebus, give it time.

So far I'm having a hard time getting into NCIS: LA. Seems to have 1 too many pointless characters (Nate, Dominic, Eric and Hetty). Chris O'Donnell as the leading man? Questionable. Its a bit different actually with NCIS's first epi. Its assumed that all characters are already well known, thus sparing us the introduction, but Kate is being introduced to the team so you get the introductions for her from the other members. Smart writers
