Jim Lee must HATE his own Asian race, b/c he keeps on creating White/Black superheroes as if there aren't enough of them out there.
Why doesn't he create COOL Asian American superheroes, I am NOT talking about some Asian guy wielding a sword,ninja or doing martial arts, b/c that has been done to DEATH. The only one I can remember is Grunge, which died out. Give us an Asian American superhero Jim. There are a lot of Asian Americans who read and support your comics.
Alot easier to use, alot less fuss with sharpening, you can use a pencil tipper, sand paper, certain types of machines. Plus you get use to a pencil after awhile, you can reload it as much as you like with new lead when you're done and never have to worry about it getting short.

Maybe your bro got a second hand piece of art or a sketch from someone who went to a comic-con, his comic-con sketches are done in two to four minutes, and look at some of his original art. His line work and rendering is very, very good. There's a reason why he's still one of the biggest artists in American comics. You sound envious.
I wasn't hating. Check your attitude. A publishable comic book will have to be colored. Jim can get away with it because he is Jim. I was just stating that he is sketchy. Thats all. I don't envy or bicker with people.
Adam Hughes has to supplement his income that way because he only does covers. He just takes way to long to do sequential art in a comic, so just does covers, hence probably needs to make money elsewhere.
Well, to each his own. I will say for what it is worth that you are in a HUGE minortiy of people who do not like Adam Huges' Art. He is in the top three most wanted original art artists in comics. (Alex Ross obviously)

amazing sketch, he's a master. try to sketch this yourself from memory in 5 minutes, you can't do it I guarantee it.

This dude is the sketchiest artist i know. My brother does my photo shops and for kicks he wanted to do one of jim's.
my bro says that its too messy. in the end he needed to delete alot of the etching and sketching traces.
