I am the President of one of the more recently started chapters of YAWR. Our group did not particiate in this walk-out because we have not yet exhausted other options. However, we did cover our campus with posters on the same day that this walk-out took place. If the war has not ended by the time we exhaust other options, it is my intention that we will take part in the next walk-out after the options are exhausted. To me a walk-out is similar to what war should be, a last resort.
Just a bit of a reminder...this war is being paid for with a "war" credit card. We as a nation have yet to put one red cent toward the cost of this war. It is currently estimated at approx. $40,000 per person (baby to senior) of debt, that doesn't even include the interest as we all know credit always comes with an interest charge.
Along with all the lies told to us remember this one...the profits from Iraq oil revenue will go for reconstruction of Iraq. Anyone see that happening?

I was there, it was a lot of fun and I think we reached the people of Seattle. Everyone around us was in support.
