When he spit his mouthpiece out he was willing to take whatever punishment the referee would give, thus he is managing his fight. Many of refs have appeared to give breaks - it's part of the sport. Look at Judah VS Cotto the ref was clearly a Judah fan but Cotto took care of his business and "managed his fight".

@resistnsmoke any fighter can do anything he pretty much wants in the ring. its up to the ref to make the call. if anyone cheated it was the ref not doing his job properly. maybe he got paid off or something. but to blame it on corrales is not fair. hes just a fighter like everyone else.

think they stopped the fight like 3 seconds too early because they shouldnt gave the benifit of the doubt u know castillo knocked down corrales 2 times and corrales might of hurt castillo but who knows he couldve gotten right back in the fight... i dont know 3 seconds too much?.. at least a couple seconds.. other than that great fight.. i like gatti vs ward better a bit.. because it was split decision it showed heart from both guys and castillo got tko'd.. soo all in all good fight.
