I once had schizophrenia, I'm getting medication for it now, but it was fucking horrible and I don't want to go back to it, it's not just hallucinations, everyday I would spend an hour or 2 with a golf club in my hand waiting for some crazy killer to come into my house. I was afraid to go outside, I thought everyone was watching me, waiting for me to fall into their trap.

Considering it's such a bad disorder, it is actually quite common, 1 in 100 people have it...

I work in an Alzheimers and Dementia unit all 32 of my patients have some form of mental illness some are quiet and some are violent as I have found out in the past 5 years that I've done the job,90 year olds thinking there parents are coming to pick them up to people saying that they are being told that god wants them to hurt someone but they don't want too.
