@yurifoi ok, so there r 2 worlds: Cocoon and pulse. cocoon is where they are, where they live. coccon is basically a floating coccoon in the sky with many different regions. pulse is the earth, the real world that was abondoned. there are powerful creature called fal'cie. a cocoon fal'cie is good to the people of coccoon. when a fal'cie needs help wit something, they take people from cocoon and make them l'cie. if they help the fal'cie, they turn to crystal n wake up. if u fail, u turn zombie.

@yurifoi if a person is branded from a cocoon fal'cie, its ok. if it from a fal'cie from pulse, they kill that person and the whole city, called the purge, which is why the game starts when lighting tries to sabtouge the train that leads to the purge. need more info, send me a comment. ;)

Did anyone else notice that Lightning finally realize what she had done to her sister and now regrets it? Fang said she would tear down the sky for Vanille. Lightning just completely abandoned Serah after finding out she was a L'Cie. I think at this point is when Lightning had something(or someone) to fight for. Her character changes after this point.
