@topgearfan1997 About an hour away I suppose? You're lucky to live there. You're near some great tracks and other places to ride. You are really close to Club Moto.
@topgearfan1997 Haha nice. I would but I can never really plan my riding trips because the only way I get to go riding is by other people taking me. So I go where someone offers to take me and that's it. Rarely do I ever get to do my own thing.
@topgearfan1997 I'm in Modesto so I'm definitely within range for you to dump it off. I've done business with a guy from Concord before and he didn't have a problem driving out.
Ok that's cool, I'll definitely hand it over to you:D and after that we can go dirt biking or something cause by then I'll have a truck and be able to "take you";)
so these gold valves fit inside the standard forks and are now adjustable with clickers, yeah? is you shock standard? i can't believe how much air you are getting with this bike. im impressed!
@polyurethane610 Pretty much, yes. You drill out the old damping orifices and these cover the damper rod so they now control oil flow. The spring that controls the blow-off valve is adjustable and replaceable to control compression damping. Rebound can only be controlled by changing fork oil weight. So it's not externally adjustable, but it only takes a couple minutes to get to them and adjust them. In this vid I still had stock shock which sucks big time. I should've fixed the shock first.
@Hysteriaqwerty Look under the rear fender of your 230. You'll notice the subframe extensions with black plastic plugs. You'll have to decide what length you need. Some people use them and need them more than others. I don't really need them so I cut a good length off. Just hack 'em off and put the plastic plugs on the new ends.
it looks like you took the fork boots off, and you put seal savers on. What brand though? is that tusk or seal savers? How does the bike look with no boots and just seal savers?
I got Seal Savers brand. I think the bike looks much cleaner and better without the boots. I did it mainly for weight reduction, but I've found they even offer more reliable protection compared to the stock boots. The stock boots hold in a bunch of crap, these things actually keep stuff out and are easy to clean out after every ride.
if your 5'3 what bike would you be looking for im 13 125
