Geez make-up artists... either you do too much or to little... Although, I actually think Hermione looks closer to 37 in this one than she does in the actual movie. Ron & Draco are definitely way too old. Harry also looks too old, but at least it seems more natural... the prosthetics/make-up he had in the movie just looked way to obvious.

@zane98zane Hell no. Using different actors would kill the ending, since we grew up with Dan, Rupert, and Emma as Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Replacing them, or even just one of them would completely kill the finale because we'd get the final fade-to-black with people we're not so familiar with.
Actually the books were set up in the years 1991-1997 and James Potter was born in 1960. It means Sirius, Lupin & Snape were 37 yrs old too (in the 7th book) but the actors look much much older than 37 yrs. Anyway, they were all brilliant actors and have won peoples admiration worldwide.

The film studio was actually upset with the results, since the looked too old, and they did reshoots this month to change it. I hope they fixed it up well, but if they didn't, that's ok, just as long as they complete the story well.

This might be just one person's opinion (and that's okay by me), but I think they look okay. The makeup artists could've done a WAY better job on Draco and Ron, but everyone else is pretty fine. Maybe the problem is that we're seeing these people/photos too closely. Even Draco looks better in the picture of him and Astoria (further away) than the one with just him (up close).

These pictures also are not the greatest pictures ever taken, i think they will look alot better in the movie. So just keep that in mind before you start bashing. I think they will look good in the epilogue. It will be interesting to see how the actors can do when acting like they are 20 years older than they really are.

@lfcqueen123 Hopefully it won't look so bad once production on the epilogue is actually done...but I definitely agree w/everyone else; why the heck are they making the 'adults' look more like senior citizens? I'm SO happy they kept the actors, because I was afraid they would just get rid of them, but...really?! I hope the makeup artists keep working @ it, too :-)!

These pictures also are not the greatest pictures ever taken, i think they will look alot better in the movie. So just keep that in mind before you start bashing. I think they will look good in the epilogue. It will be interesting to see how the actors can do when acting like they are 20 years older than they really are.
