@CrazyCity26 It's an 80's model Subaru EA81. Rated at 72 horsepower at 4800 rpm. Direct drive it'll be hard to get that rpm. Lots of these engines are run with reduction. Since this video, I've decided to go with a 4A084. The subaru started, ran, and sounded nice, but anyway I cut it, it was too heavy for this airframe. It put me about 50lb over gross. I sold it to a guy whose putting it on a mini airboat.
that looks like the odd 4 cylider engine my mom's old Subaru had. I was actually a very good car come to think of it.

Will probably have pretty good climb performance. Sounds excellent. Like a real airplane. Hats off!
And yeah, I did get a little nervous watching him walk around the prop.
