Thankfully all the brave men and women who fought to stop this evil succeeded. This monster will burn in hell like the coward monster he was. His biggest mistake was not blowing his brains out sooner. God Save the Queen Britain and her allies will always prevail.
@VikingSkills7 I will agree with you only this much, Hitler did have solid achievements to show for the first 5 years of his rule. His barter system for international trade was also a success which scared the US. But his cynical pact with the Soviets was folly of the worst kind. And his attack on Poland appalled Goering because he knew that Germany's true position was weak and he at least saw the risk.
Wow, number 2 is stupid, he attacked Poland because of A: Poland was killing hundreds of Germans in Prussia, and B: Germany lost Prussia, which was wrong cause Germany was not the sole cause of WW1!
all those fucking starved poles and germans in the hands of the russians, all the raped german women in berlin all the killed germans by the jews, and the us and uk who stole technology to patton later. ...all was because hitler did not want to kill jews. there was no mass extermination. they are such stubborn anipulators being involved in every war of the world...gamers really. they are gamers . and like rats really the jews remind me of rats
hitler loved animals so much he was a vegetarian yet people call him evil. mistakes were made. I wish they could clone hitler like on those movies . we need the nazis today. they were not hate crime killers the SA were and hitler said ok no more of this and stop killing jews. he was kind enough to relocate them to ghettos and rehabilitate political prisoners in work in progress camps. "auchwitz". all the blood shed is russian and jews who got the us and uk involved.
@timeismoney25 had hitler withdrew all troops back to berlin to recover and heal troops and recources they would alo be back in berlin! the whole nation. russia fucking slaughtered most of the germans and the nasty jews secretly then got the usa and uk involved and in wwi. Honestly they needed to back up. like a boxer in and out. I'm giving away my own aryan german strategy but I can defeat any army I have that master gene. age of empires series on the pc proves that. also the nazis needed ..
If Adolf Hitler were alive today he would be embarrassed by the continual posthumous whining of his so-called followers citing the fact that he 'missed it by that much' and blaming the superior strength of his enemies (as though the fact that he picked a fight with a stronger opponent is no proof of lack of enlightened leadership abilities). His followers miss the point and insult what he felt was the ultimate nobility of his own character by becoming apologists.
@Voigt465 He Didnt Pick a Fight with a Bigger Opponent.
He and His Forces WERE Superior. Had he Had Equal Numbers and Not Been Surrounded on all Sides, Leaving him to Stretch His War Machine So Thin, It would Not have been a Defeat. Strange so many People dont realize that.
Also, Do you not realize How Much Germany Accomplished During his Regime? The Autobahn, Leaping Out of the Great Depression, Uniting a Nation So Powerfully, Dominating the Olympics, and Having the Best Army Man for Man...
@VikingSkills7 Incorrect, the Germans were inferior in both men and material when they fought the French and British in 1940, and the Germans were at a big numerical disadvantage against the USSR. You are right that his war machine was stretched too thin and that Hitler was a phenomenal leader from 1934 until 1941 with accomplishments too numerous to document thoroughly.
@villanovakid84 How can you say hitler was a great man and leader he was a disaster evil narcissistic cowardly paranoid Schizophrenic disaster there was nothing great about him he died a coward the great people are the ones who put down there lived to stop him. And what do you mean he should of conquered Great Britain are u a nazi.
Hitler could rule the world if Japan didn't attack Pearl Harbor because US would be isolationism forever, and after Germany invaded Russia they would invade United Kingdom again then after that they all will declare the war on US. So thank Japan for attacked Pearl Harbor so we won't be ruled by Germany.
This video is big shit. You have no idea of the political situation in Europe and in the US and in the SU in that time. Poland, France and Churchill wanted the war! In 41 the soviets were about to rush against Germany. The germans found out about that and decided to rush against the soviets immediately. Molotov did a big mistake there!
In my eyes Dunkirk, the italien invasion of yugoslavia and greece, und the winter in Stalingrad (thank you Göring!) were the only big mistakes Hitler did.
@SrSerb You have a point, but you must remember it was the Italians who got Hitler bogged down in the Balkans. The Germans had no business in Serbia and this sideshow delayed Barbarossa for 6 weeks. I still think that the Germans would not have beaten the Russians.
@Angles786 He actually attempted to do that beforehand, but with the British radar stations the RAF would know when the Luftwaffe was coming and could defend itself. Either way it was a lost cause
THERE IS NOT ONE RACE IN EUROPE THAT HAS SUFFERED AS MUCH AS SRBIJA !!! OR DID AS MUCH FOR THEIR SO CALLED ALLIES !!!! WE ARE NOW TAKING THE KNIFES OUT OF OUR BACKS FOR STUPID WESTERN POLITICS !!! FOR WHAT ???? MONEY/ OIL /NEW ALLIANCES !!!! OR ALL THE ABOVE !!!! FUCK YOU PRICKS !!! E FUCKEN U AND NATO !!! YOU WILL NOT ROB SRBIJA !!!!! YOU ARE CORRUPT TRUE SERBS ARE NOT !!!!
@RedBeretXXX I think Poland suffered as much as Serbia. The NATO attack on your country in the late 90's was taken out Hitler's playbook. NATO was a good alliance when it was first formed, but now it is satanic. WTF was NATO in Libya? They were there to loot and plunder.
Invading Serbia was their biggest mistake it cost them the war in Russia they thought that the CETNICKS the serbian defenders were a push over but it proofed wrong !!!! they never encountered such resistance as seen in Serbia AND THATS A FACT JACK !!! we delayed their advance into Russia that cost them heavily !!!! HISTORY TALKS WESTERN BULL SHIT WALKS !!!!
Mistakes: #1 Jews holocaust, #2 Invading Russia instead of beating UK. I guess the US would have joined WWII against Germany and Japan even if Pearl Harbour attack didn't happen.
@villanovakid84 A great man and a genius ???? this Monster was responsible for the death of 3% of the entire worlds population , some 50 plus million people. Never on this earth has there been a man as evil as Hitler. I,m amazed despite all the literature available out there that someone can call him "a great man and a genius" ... i,m astounded.
@TyneBridge100 Yes, Hitler was a great man and a genius. He singlehandedly led Germany back from the abyss of humiliation to dominance of Europe. To label him as a monster and evil is both simplistic and myopic. I divide my analysis of Hitler into 2 periods. From 1933 to 1940, he was one of the greatest leaders in European history. Then, as the war went against him, he became quite callous to the suffering of people, even Germans. He was a very complex and intriguing man.
Your blah blah cannot change the facts tyne . Being Evil and is other thing and being great and genius is another . And look who is lecturing us who can't even rally his own family to something can say something about Hitler who rallied entire nation , Who came very close to world domination .
@villanovakid84 You left out being born. But I guess he cant be blamed for that. He was neither a great man nor a genius. He was a small-minded, resentful con man who persuaded enough people that the Jews were the cause of all of Germanys woes. He was a man of average intelligence and ability wedded to boundless ambition and egotism. He was unconcerned with the German people and left orders for the wholesale destruction of towns and villages after his cowardly death.
@mikelheron20 He ordered others to fight to the last drop of their blood. He attempted to micromanage military campaigns and disregarded the advice of his generals leading to military disasters. He bred dissent among his staff - encouraging them to fight each for supremacy. He blamed everyone else for his failures accusing them of incompetence or treachery. And he very possibly had an incestuous relationship with his niece. Oh, yes. And he was guilty of genocide. Great? I think not
@mikelheron20 No, Hitler was a great man, he rose from a vagabond in the streets of Vienna to leader of Germany and conquerer of Europe,I never said he was a good guy,he had many faults.Nevertheless, he was a magnificent leader until 1940 and then he was overwhelmed by the war and he lost a grip on reality. War is a terrible thing and WW2 was a great tragedy.
@villanovakid84 Hitler never had a grip on reality. Have you actually read Mein Kampf? He was delusional, superstitious, spiteful, vindictive, petty-minded, paranoid, lazy and cowardly. (Yes I know about his iron cross.).
The only thing great about him was his egotism. His rise to power was determined by external circumstances, the power of his oratory and the efforts and skills of others. No. He was not a magnificent leader.
@gothicsoul100 1.Spain was too weak after their civil war to provide any substantial help to Germany.2. You are correct that Hitler dispersed his forces too thin, the Italians hurt Germany in this manner.3. If Hitler, mainly Goering, had the foresight to develop the ME-262[supersonic jet], German cities would have never ben bombed.4 He should have conquered Britain before taking on the USSR. Your points are very good.
@villanovakid84 A great man? He shot himself in a bunker while millions of children were sent to fight the soviets. Did Hitler single handedly go out and rebuild the German economy after WW1? Of course not, a country as rich and industrial as Germany was bound to come back, especially considering its industry had been untouched. Hitler led Germany into massive defeat, loss of life and 50 years of partition. Get your head out of your ass.
@TheRhinehart86 You are wrong. The trading blocks, tariff barriers and international boycotts, coupled with international loans having to be repaid in gold, froze otherwise industrially powerful countries like Germany and Japan out of being able to sell their surplus production to other countries. Organisations like the U.N. the World Bank, the IMF, the International Trade Organization all came about after WWII to avoid the problems which led to the war in the first place.
@TheRhinehart86 Yes, Hitler was a great man and one of Europe's greatest leaders. He rose from a vagabond in the streets of Vienna to the leader of a great nation.Under Hitler's economic policies[ designed by Hjalmar Schacht], the German economy boomed while other western countries wallowed in economic misery.Hitler was deficient in terms of strategy, but no one is perfect. His fatal error was finishing off the British.
His biggest mistake was invading Russia when he failed to knock the UK out of the war and second biggest mistake was to declare war on the US at a time when he was still fighting the UK and Russia paticularly as by this time Britian and Russia had started to get the better of the Gerrmans
@svenskmaktfinneslakt In fact, Germany was not geared for total war production until 1944. See the articles:'A Germany-Soviet Military-Economic Comparison'. Winston Churchill once wrote that, '... the only thing that ever really frightened me during the war was the U-boat peril'. By the end of the war, the Germans had indeed produced new types of 'super-submarines', the Types XXI and XXIII, and these would have been very dangerous had they been introduced earlier...
@apeek7 WRONG!... Hitler did not declare was on the world the jews involvement "don;t laugh" The jews got america and the uk involved in wwI and made promises. Later in wwII they got german technology but the jews had thier own agenda. Get back at the germans for kicking them out and excluding them from the master race. Mistake was attacking russia too soon, and the uk at all. pearl harbor should not have happened too. I know exactly how the nazis could have won and stayed in power .
@apeek7 man those jews killed so many germans with russia I cant even think about it its so terrible and the fakened camps afterwards.. jews are as stubborn and vengeful as any other being on earth let me tell you
@apeek7 I love how you bask in the glory of the great old US of A. The USA mistake was to wait 3-years before entering the war while many lost the lives sitting with it's hands over it's eyes while London was bombed night after night some ally. But of course US has to take all the credit. He never invaded Britain because the British won Battle of Britain. I would be ashamed if my country sat neutral while US was bombed night after night.
@MegaDEgmAn "killed more then 25 milion russians" nope incorrect between 2-7 million russians were killed by the nazis and other 20 million by stalin hope you find that in your next time research
It was not a mistake of attacking the USSR. Anyway, it still would have happened someday. His mistake was in underestimating the powerful of Soviet country and patriotism of Soviet people. The *mistake* №2 is wrong!!! The war had to begin and Hitler couldn't avoid it! And Hitler was a true genius of course... But that's a bad thing for all of us =( For example, every fourth person in USSR died because of war.
I think the part where hitler invade Russia was retarded. And Japan dragging America into war. But America was lucky too because if most of the navy wasn't in pearl harbor. If it was America would've been crippled through out the war
What utter ignorance. Poland was invaded to re-claim Prussian lands for a starter. Secondly, not all of the USSR was Russian and the most fanatical of the SS units tended to come from formerly occupied states under the USSR. Vichy Franch was a success for the Germans until the tide turned against them as war hero Petain and Leval were effective rulers.
The big mistake was fighting a war on two fronts. Britain and the US on one side with Russia on the other was just too much for them.
Hitler was a foolish racist murderer who's own grandfather was himself a Jew and Hitler knew it. Not only that but he sent children to the battlefields.
The only mistake of Hitler was his greediness ! He should never go and take at the same time in the east Leningrad , Stalingrad and Moscow ! He should have been taken either Stalingrad and Leningrad (which is better) or just only Moscow !
Hitler also spent too much of his money on "toys" like the "Vengeance" project. He also stopped his reasearch on jets just to resume them in 1944 when it's already too late to turn the tide of the war. In war, important things always come first. even an average private knows that! Stupid Hitler.
@mysteryman3666 He purchased a lot of those thing's to showcase his ability later as a fighter and as an overall believed the best strategy at the time was an offensive one which is true. However, some rocket's for the bomber's and several other thing's could have helped him instigate a maneuver which in turn would have saved Germany.
Japan, one of Hitler's best allies herself was one of the many factors that DUG HITLER'S GRAVE. Japan attacked Pearl Harbor earning Germany an extra enemy... That was done at the wrong place and time. Stupid just stupid.
hitler might have won the war if he just taken over moscow instead of sending the moscow invasion army to help out the southern army which was meeting heavy resistence. By the time the mosow army got their the southern army was going strong.
2 killing jews he could have had like 1000 000 men for his army
and thats it but one more thing yes i no that the lufwaffa could not take britin but if he sent in every thing at once britin would have bin killed easy but the eastin front wast of time and men.
@player276 at 1 communicating with their ally japan still not a good idea via radio or codes.... cuz by as early as 1943 japans code has already been broken.... and they could suffer from heavy losses just like on midway....... while germans code has been broken as early as the winter of 1943..... which they didnt know... and suffer very heavy losses on battle of the bulge...
Highly unintelligent, first of all, learn how spell, second there was very little actual fact in here (if you are going to say something back it up with evidence) third, when the Germans captured the Ukraine they were considered liberator's, but Hitler chose to enslaved them and caused many citizens to start up a guerrilla war against him. He could have had them all as allies but he chose to have them as enemy's. Do proper research
A great documentary on this topic is: "How Hitler Lost The War"
His WORST MISTAKE was he called of the peace pact and invaded Russia. if he didnt do that and focused on the Allies maybe he would have won. Lucky for us he was stupid eh?
poland was a staging point for the invasion of the USSR they would have beat russia if they waited a few years building forces making more armor, ammo etc and prepared for winter warfare but hilter was stupidly confident that russia would collapse before winter
His biggest mistake was - aside from Operation Barbarossa - was during the Battle of Britain was ordering the Luftwaffe to turn their attention away from Royal Air Force bases and to begin attacking British cities. With the pressure off the air fields the RAF hit back hard, and prevented the Germans from gaining control of British airspace which was necessary to launch Operation Sea Lion
Well, the people of Ukraine and other Soviet states welcomed the Germans as liberators, until Hitler decided to act upon his backwarded ideology and started mass executions of innocent civillians. If he had been less of an idiot at that time, and used the liberator-image for all it was worth, he could have had the support of the locals. And if he had avoided war with the West, and launched operation Barbarossa in May as intended --and not in July-- he could have brought Russia to it's knees.
@MrAmorphous Correction: Operation Barbarossa was launched in June. Had it been launched in May, they might have avoided the autumn rain and the cold winter.
invading soviets isn't mistake they only mistake is that hitler start war with 49 countryes if he fight one on one she will crush soviets and all others
There are only two real mistakes to Hitler. Being narrowly-minded stupid and racist. Had he used the Ukrainians instead of killing him, he would boost the manpower needed to occupy Russia AND gain popular support. He also believed that his way was best, that's why Moscow and Britian were never conquered.
His biggest mistake was trying to take over the world and kill every single being he didn't like. No one man can have that kind of power no matter how hard he may try. He had no chance of winning, this I am certain. The world doesn't belong to just one man, it belongs to the human race.
Самая главная ошибка бесноватого-нападение на СССР.Ещё ошибка-дал возможность англикозам убежать в одних кальсонах из Франции в 1940 году и не добил этих педиков окончательно.
5. Too much money goes to his Vengeance weapons or the V1 and V2 rockets and those are very uneffective weapons
4. During the war to occupy the western front.. he STOPs ALL research in Aviation.. and that means he just wasted the Amazing planes such as Me 262 and resume them in 1944
3.HE DID NOT BUILD ANY DEFENCE WEAPON such as guided Surface to Air missle to destroy american bombers
2. Invasion of England. he could focus on the E front
@crashh96 w8 i read it in my americana encyclopedia i a watch a ton of documentary's here in youtube and hitler is the one who declared the war to US becuz he is the first to sink American Liner transporting goods to The Bankrupt England....
@h4mmers3x actually i agree with that... but US is STILL NOT DECLARING WAR ON THE GERMANY...... and the US still ignores the war on europe..... US is only fighting with japan and supporting only ENgland not fighting with them..... and germany STILL declare on the US while having a war still going on the eastern front with USSR.... then all of his resources starts to depleted.... he can no longer sustain the war going on both FRONTS?.... whos mistake is that? yeah hitler that is...
@MultiBlackhandfan actually slightly incorrect they attack pearl harbor then after the main naval fleet was destroyed and their carriers has escaped they declared war.... what a cheap shot from japan
Germany never declared war on US. Japan did that but due to their alliance, Germany was dragged in.
To me biggest mistake was invasion of USSR. That's where they fought the longest, bloodiest, most exhausting, and most destructive military campaign of all time. Also the author is stoopeed
@Doomemperor1 yeah but US is really a great help for britain and NO weapons of nazi germany could destroy american city due to the distance so.... America has an advantage.....
@GoldEagle315 Well he shot on US ships because he was at war with them wasnt he, and no America didnt protect us at all, we won the battle of britain without americans.
@Eddsaysftw yes i know that British Air Forces won agent Lufftwaffe but US did antway stand behind you! and he shot at US ships because the deliverd goods (HELP) to britain!
@Eddsaysftw I do not mean to insult the proud ARF fighters who help off the Lufftwafa (sorry for the misspelling) but the land Lease Act pored Millions of dollars into Britain that the otherwise wouldn't of been there. US supply's backed up the British all through out the battle of Britain, There is no doubt Britain would of fallen without US support. Not to say they wouldn't of fought bravely, they would of fallen.
@GODBLESSUSA100 First American i have saw who has R.E.S.P.E.C.T. I'm not saying "We could have fought the War completely without America, they suck" i'm saying "We would not have been fucking crushed!" I think the word crushed would have meant we would have lost after a year. But without you, we could have fought until, lets say, 1943.
@The88Razor88 No defence weapon? your fucking clueless,he literally filled germany with them, your just another imbecile with internet trying to look smart, and the ONLY reason Hitler did not win is because he had to many fronts, and became too hungry when he realised he could actually win this and spread his propaganda world-wide.Learn your fucking facts
@samymasta show me an EFFECTIVE DEFENCE WEAPON THE HITLER AND HIS NAZI SCIENTIST DESIGNS?.... me 162? me 262? i dont give a fuck... i dont learn from videos from this fucking youtube you maggot i learn from books..... GERMANY HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY TO BUILD A FUCKING MISSLE TO BRING down ALLIED planes.... but what did hitler DO? he dont give a FUCK?.... all he wants is to ATTACK Not to defend.... wants his defend system in GERMANY? yeah AA guns with boys 12 and below using them FUCKING GREAT......
@samymasta another thing.... i DONT ACT SMART..... u see and my comment above.... I SAID FOR ME.... as in my opinion... i did not say HIS REAL or something like his true mistakes are blah blah blah..... the one acting smart is you... u know that? you SAID the ONLY reason.... damn...
@The88Razor88 Cant prove what?I just said you are a lost-cause and had nothing to reply with(we see here I was completely right),I have absolutely nothing to prove.
The big mistake that lost the war in the east for hitler was not taking the Ukranians as allies. these people were straved and beaten by the russians, they hated Russians and specially stalin. the german troops were treated as liberators and some ukranians were sent to work with the german army. However hitler's racisim turned the german troops against the Ukranians. There were german generals who wanted the ukranians as valuable allies but hitler didn't want, so he made them into enemies.
@desiguy55 if the Ukranians were accpeted a sallies by hitler, he would have had a valuable region and a population that would have fought against the Soviets. perhaps even won the war in the east..
@desiguy55 ..... are you kidding me Ukraine wasn't even a nation back then it was just another soviet union field..... that would be the last mistake of hitler if its a mistake at all
Hitlers biggest mistakes? 1. After betraying the USSR and atacking he split his main fighting force headed for Stalingrad and sent half his army into the oil caucuses ending in a lose on the Russian front. 2. The day after Japan attacked America at Pearl Harbor Hitler declared war on America, these are the two biggest reason had he have listened to hes generals and advisers there is a very high chance that half of the world would be controlled by Nazis right now.
@rickker20 He did and almost won, its easy to forget how close Germany was to wining when all anyone ever focuses on is the Nazis defeat and there atrocity's.
Hitler's biggest mistake was taking Poland and Ukraine as enemies instead of friends. Alrite, they might have needed to attack and conquer Poland and liberate Ukraine but they should have treated them well and encouraged to fight against the USSR bulwark. Additional Waffen-SS divisions from Polish and Ukrainian voluntary troops would have won the war in the East. Without Eastern Front, the Western Allies would not stand a chance. Do you imagine USA dropping A-bombs in Europe? No way in hell.
The invasion of Poland was supposed to start war. Hitler believed he could win. Hitler's mistakes were his MASSIVE ego, his paronia, his inability to delegate, and the fact that he eventually went totally insane from all the uppers and downers he had injected. If he had listened to his generals all thru the war, things would have been different. Russian invasion was his biggest mistake, tho. He believed in his own press and thought Germans were better than everyone else. He was an idiot.
@beet74 the nazi's Army could have won ww2 in 3 years.. but hitler did not let his generals use there plans , his crazy ass lost the war and destroyed white europe.
@inyourfacebitch1000 Destroyed white Europe? Hitler didn't like anything but white people without any congential problems. Hitler could never have won WW2 in the long run because Germany didn't have the resources, (material or manpower) to take on the rest of the world, despite his thinking that Germans were the master race. The war was lost before it started, and many of his people tried to tell him that but he either ignored or murdered them.
You had one right...the invasion of Russia. The actual others...declaring war on the U.S., allowing B.E.F. at Dunkirk to escape., Not taking over Gibraltar and Malta., not supporting Rommel and taking the Suez canal and middle east oil. Hitler could have had the entire Med. sea at his command with no possible invasion route from that flank. Invading England would have been possible...that was his only chance at victory...Thank God he was too stupid to know it.
@wseabuck actually nazi forces were about to take Moscow , but hitler's crazy ass changed the war plan, and did not think about the cold winter, which was a major reason he lost 70% of his army there.. nazi's would have won ww2 if hitler was not taking control of ar plans.. but thank god he lost!
@inyourfacebitch1000 Taking Moscow would have been a prize but not the end of the war by any means. The only was to have beaten Russia would have been to have turned their own people against them which would not have been all that difficult since they hated Stalin largely. Instead they created millions of recruits to replace the millions killed, that and the incomprehensible vastness of the country was impossible to defeat.
Sadly hitler had no chouhs by invading the USSR. The USSR was negotiating with england to invade germany, And hitler know that so he decided to invade the USSR before they invaded him
Thankfully all the brave men and women who fought to stop this evil succeeded. This monster will burn in hell like the coward monster he was. His biggest mistake was not blowing his brains out sooner. God Save the Queen Britain and her allies will always prevail.

In my opinion three huge mistakes,
He never invaded Britain!
he could have used the power to convince not brute force!
and make the Poles, Lithuanians, Gypsy, Jews, etc. ....
And last but not least, declare war in the USA!
From Brazil !
tigui38 1 week ago
This video is big shit. You have no idea of the political situation in Europe and in the US and in the SU in that time. Poland, France and Churchill wanted the war! In 41 the soviets were about to rush against Germany. The germans found out about that and decided to rush against the soviets immediately. Molotov did a big mistake there!
In my eyes Dunkirk, the italien invasion of yugoslavia and greece, und the winter in Stalingrad (thank you Göring!) were the only big mistakes Hitler did.

his biggest mistake was the retaliation on the serbian people for the chetnik guerilla movement wich delayed his attack on russia for 6 weeks
SrSerb 1 week ago
@SrSerb You have a point, but you must remember it was the Italians who got Hitler bogged down in the Balkans. The Germans had no business in Serbia and this sideshow delayed Barbarossa for 6 weeks. I still think that the Germans would not have beaten the Russians.
villanovakid84 1 week ago
@Angles786 He actually attempted to do that beforehand, but with the British radar stations the RAF would know when the Luftwaffe was coming and could defend itself. Either way it was a lost cause

Hitler's 5 biggest mistakes:
1. Letting the British escape at Dunkirk,
2. Failure to invade England
3.Declaring war on the USA
4.Not capturing Malta and thus adequately supplying Rommel
5.Not setting up independent states in Ukraine and Belarus
Still, he was both a great man and a genius. It is quite easy to be an armchair quarterback.
villanovakid84 2 weeks ago 18
@villanovakid84 A great man and a genius ???? this Monster was responsible for the death of 3% of the entire worlds population , some 50 plus million people. Never on this earth has there been a man as evil as Hitler. I,m amazed despite all the literature available out there that someone can call him "a great man and a genius" ... i,m astounded.
TyneBridge100 2 weeks ago
@TyneBridge100 Yes, Hitler was a great man and a genius. He singlehandedly led Germany back from the abyss of humiliation to dominance of Europe. To label him as a monster and evil is both simplistic and myopic. I divide my analysis of Hitler into 2 periods. From 1933 to 1940, he was one of the greatest leaders in European history. Then, as the war went against him, he became quite callous to the suffering of people, even Germans. He was a very complex and intriguing man.
villanovakid84 2 weeks ago
@TyneBridge100
Your blah blah cannot change the facts tyne . Being Evil and is other thing and being great and genius is another . And look who is lecturing us who can't even rally his own family to something can say something about Hitler who rallied entire nation , Who came very close to world domination .
masterkaran4u 1 week ago
@villanovakid84 You left out being born. But I guess he cant be blamed for that. He was neither a great man nor a genius. He was a small-minded, resentful con man who persuaded enough people that the Jews were the cause of all of Germanys woes. He was a man of average intelligence and ability wedded to boundless ambition and egotism. He was unconcerned with the German people and left orders for the wholesale destruction of towns and villages after his cowardly death.
mikelheron20 1 week ago
@mikelheron20 He ordered others to fight to the last drop of their blood. He attempted to micromanage military campaigns and disregarded the advice of his generals leading to military disasters. He bred dissent among his staff - encouraging them to fight each for supremacy. He blamed everyone else for his failures accusing them of incompetence or treachery. And he very possibly had an incestuous relationship with his niece. Oh, yes. And he was guilty of genocide. Great? I think not
mikelheron20 1 week ago
@mikelheron20 No, Hitler was a great man, he rose from a vagabond in the streets of Vienna to leader of Germany and conquerer of Europe,I never said he was a good guy,he had many faults.Nevertheless, he was a magnificent leader until 1940 and then he was overwhelmed by the war and he lost a grip on reality. War is a terrible thing and WW2 was a great tragedy.
villanovakid84 1 week ago
@villanovakid84 Hitler never had a grip on reality. Have you actually read Mein Kampf? He was delusional, superstitious, spiteful, vindictive, petty-minded, paranoid, lazy and cowardly. (Yes I know about his iron cross.).
The only thing great about him was his egotism. His rise to power was determined by external circumstances, the power of his oratory and the efforts and skills of others. No. He was not a magnificent leader.

@villanovakid84 Hitler's 5 biggest mistakes
1.he should have got help from spain seens he and mussolini put franco in power he owed him one
2. He should have never devidid the troops
3. he should have wait it the Abome and jet were done befor going to war
4 he should have wait it until he got europe then go after the U.S.S.R
5 he should have lied to the jews and said he was pro-jew to get there help and taking over the world. If he saw these 5 he forsure would have won
gothicsoul100 2 days ago
@gothicsoul100 1.Spain was too weak after their civil war to provide any substantial help to Germany.2. You are correct that Hitler dispersed his forces too thin, the Italians hurt Germany in this manner.3. If Hitler, mainly Goering, had the foresight to develop the ME-262[supersonic jet], German cities would have never ben bombed.4 He should have conquered Britain before taking on the USSR. Your points are very good.
villanovakid84 11 hours ago
@villanovakid84 A great man? He shot himself in a bunker while millions of children were sent to fight the soviets. Did Hitler single handedly go out and rebuild the German economy after WW1? Of course not, a country as rich and industrial as Germany was bound to come back, especially considering its industry had been untouched. Hitler led Germany into massive defeat, loss of life and 50 years of partition. Get your head out of your ass.
TheRhinehart86 1 day ago
@TheRhinehart86 You are wrong. The trading blocks, tariff barriers and international boycotts, coupled with international loans having to be repaid in gold, froze otherwise industrially powerful countries like Germany and Japan out of being able to sell their surplus production to other countries. Organisations like the U.N. the World Bank, the IMF, the International Trade Organization all came about after WWII to avoid the problems which led to the war in the first place.
Voigt465 1 day ago

Sharky756 2 weeks ago
Hitler's biggest mistake - To declare war on the U.S. He didn't have to because the treaty with Japan required that the U.S. attack Japan...
Second biggest mistake was to postpone Barbarossa for five weeks to complete Operation Marita.
His third biggest mistake was underestimating both the U.S. and Russia…
His fourth biggest mistake was not waiting to start the war for another two years.
He fifth biggest mistake was not to invade Britain, even without air superiority…

@apeek7 no? 1942 germany was ready for the war.
svenskmaktfinneslakt 2 weeks ago

Hitler also spent too much of his money on "toys" like the "Vengeance" project. He also stopped his reasearch on jets just to resume them in 1944 when it's already too late to turn the tide of the war. In war, important things always come first. even an average private knows that! Stupid Hitler.

for me:
#1 Declaring war on USSR - now there are '2' fronts before US even join a side.
#2 Not invading Britain as soon as France had fallen - Chamberlain's Britain was weak.
#3 Negleced naval engagement and investment to choke Britain and US supply.
#4 Engagement in north Africa- supply to allied troops here was dwindling yet hitler forced rommel into bloody defeats.
#5 Micro-managing campaigns and battles and generally neglecting input from his generals.

Ok here are the real 5.
1. Decision to move the strategic bombing during the battle of Britain from South all the way to London.
2. Arriving to East Europe as conquerors instead of liberators.
3. Not attacking Moscow on 3 separate occasions, which could have won the war against USSR.
2. Discarding Jews, who were great scientists and soldiers and thereby could have altered the war.
1. Not Communicating with their only capable Ally, Japan.
player276 1 month ago
@player276 at 1 communicating with their ally japan still not a good idea via radio or codes.... cuz by as early as 1943 japans code has already been broken.... and they could suffer from heavy losses just like on midway....... while germans code has been broken as early as the winter of 1943..... which they didnt know... and suffer very heavy losses on battle of the bulge...
The88Razor88 1 month ago
Highly unintelligent, first of all, learn how spell, second there was very little actual fact in here (if you are going to say something back it up with evidence) third, when the Germans captured the Ukraine they were considered liberator's, but Hitler chose to enslaved them and caused many citizens to start up a guerrilla war against him. He could have had them all as allies but he chose to have them as enemy's. Do proper research

weeconman123 2 months ago
His biggest mistake was - aside from Operation Barbarossa - was during the Battle of Britain was ordering the Luftwaffe to turn their attention away from Royal Air Force bases and to begin attacking British cities. With the pressure off the air fields the RAF hit back hard, and prevented the Germans from gaining control of British airspace which was necessary to launch Operation Sea Lion
thndrct218 2 months ago
For me...
5. Spending too much money on atomic bomb program
4. Invading Britain without much preparation due to overconfidence
3. Locked away secret weapons he could have used to defeat the Allies and win the war
2. Due to overconfidence the Allies would never reach German Soil, he did not order strong defenses and started to build defenses at the last minute
1. Invading and declaring war on the Soviet Union which could have been a valuable ally.

@The88Razor88 and attacking the soviets, biggest mistake

@desiguy55 ..... are you kidding me Ukraine wasn't even a nation back then it was just another soviet union field..... that would be the last mistake of hitler if its a mistake at all
corleone560 2 months ago
@corleone560 thats BS yes indeed a Ukraine was a large region controlled by the soviets. but it's people were not Russians. they hated russians.

Hitler's biggest mistake was becoming a racist. He was doomed from the beginning. He can't fight the entire world.
rickker20 3 months ago
@rickker20 He did and almost won, its easy to forget how close Germany was to wining when all anyone ever focuses on is the Nazis defeat and there atrocity's.

HITLER'S BIGGEST MISTAKE: STARTING THE WAR IN 1939
tninbredretard 3 months ago
Hitler's biggest mistake was taking Poland and Ukraine as enemies instead of friends. Alrite, they might have needed to attack and conquer Poland and liberate Ukraine but they should have treated them well and encouraged to fight against the USSR bulwark. Additional Waffen-SS divisions from Polish and Ukrainian voluntary troops would have won the war in the East. Without Eastern Front, the Western Allies would not stand a chance. Do you imagine USA dropping A-bombs in Europe? No way in hell.

also, those wide-hipped pants... a big fashion mistake

@beet74 the nazi's Army could have won ww2 in 3 years.. but hitler did not let his generals use there plans , his crazy ass lost the war and destroyed white europe.
inyourfacebitch1000 3 months ago

Invading England would have been possible...that was his only chance at victory...Thank God he was too stupid to know it.
wseabuck 3 months ago
@wseabuck actually nazi forces were about to take Moscow , but hitler's crazy ass changed the war plan, and did not think about the cold winter, which was a major reason he lost 70% of his army there.. nazi's would have won ww2 if hitler was not taking control of ar plans.. but thank god he lost!
inyourfacebitch1000 3 months ago
@inyourfacebitch1000 Taking Moscow would have been a prize but not the end of the war by any means. The only was to have beaten Russia would have been to have turned their own people against them which would not have been all that difficult since they hated Stalin largely. Instead they created millions of recruits to replace the millions killed, that and the incomprehensible vastness of the country was impossible to defeat.
