And for some reason, the super high note that Clopin sang is different in this reprise.

I liked the last note in the original, but the reprise sounds different in terms of the super high note

Yes, I believe he could be a counter-tenor of sorts, but a counter-tenor really is a tenor that sings in a sopranic voice. You know what I mean? For an example, you can look up Vitas or Klaus Nomi, two fabulous counter-tenors. Paul Kandel might possibly be though! =) Isn't his voice amazing? *sighs*

That's exactly what the singer is using. If you do it right, Falsetto doesn't sound too different from your regular singing voice. I can hit it too, but me being a high baritone, it takes a loooot out of me!

unsure on this. I can also hit this Falsetto but it does sound very diffierent. Cathedral choir boys use Falsetto and it sounds very diffierent. If anything surely he could be classed as a counter-tenor or similar. His voice just sounds too rich to hit it in fals.
