Great video. Thank you for sharing. Not many people know that these ovulation detectors are available. I worked in a vet office for a while. I had to use one a couple of times. Some people bring their dogs to the vets to have them checked. But with this, you can do it at home in the privacy of your own home. And it will also save you a couple hundred dollars.

@healingwings when dogs are in heat, and some time before they go into heat, they have some bloody discharge. That is most likely what the blood that you saw is. If the dog was being hurt, it would have reacted quite differently instead of just calmly standing there.

Second of all, some breeders go to other countries to mate their female to a suitable male, thousands of miles! And they pay good money for the mating. So i don't see why not be prepared. I certaily wouldn't want to mate my female on a wrong day.

Well, not only do I know first hand about this kind of thing, considering the fact that I've done all the research. The only reason I see breeding dogs as a good thing, is if it was a rare breed. There are enough homeless dogs and other animals in the world. And yes, you're right. Home ovulation tests are on the market for women trying to get pregnant. I personally have used a kit thank you. Don't get all snotty with me, I know what I am talking about.
