  • Oh my .....very eerie ..extremely sad...truly it seems like a good bit of it is still down ther ..but I know not much is left by now..This is the first I've seen that shows so much of torn and twisted parts and those in particular makes really touches my heart.

How very ripped and cut and blown out from impact. Many were saved but so many weren't.

for most their death perhaps was a quick one. hell on earth

  • The expedition should show the stern.

  • Shame it's too far down to dive :( It would be great if you could

  • pretty sick spooky music mate

  • so exotic!

  • This video brought tears to my eyes... all the lives that were lost.. :(

  • Where is it that it crashed?

  • See our 2004 Expedition Google Map of the wreck site location for the R.M.S. Titanic on our website. - oceanexplorer.noaa.gov

  • To those that say she should stay down because of the people that died in the tragedy, you are wrong, most, if not all of the people died in the water, not on the ship, to those that say its grave robbing and shameful to put Titanic artifacts in museums, because they belonged to dead people, what about all the mummies and artifacts from ancient cultures, they belonged to or are dead people, I think she should be brought up to honor and memorialize the people that died and tragedy that happened.

  • I don't see why they wouldn't create a tribute ocean liner designed like the Titanic? Obviously we would have a nuclear engine and a steel hull instead of the older tech.

  • @ebarcelo05 steel hulls can be breached too dude not as easily mind u but it is possible for even an iceberg to rip into a steel hull

  • @ebarcelo05 that would be pretty cool, but i would imagine people would be afraid of travelling in it. i know i would be afraid to some extent because of the history

  • scary song

  • @keith4291 Me too. Ever sinced I watched the first film in 1986 at the age of six detailing her discovery, I have been fascinated by the Titanic from that very day. Not a day goes by without me thinking about her. One image that has stuck in my mind from that day, is a piece of footage of a light fixture hanging from the ceiling near the grand staircase on A deck and the outline left on the wall by the ornamental clock at the top of the grand staircase .

  • is it true that there is a car in a container inside the ship that is what i have herd and also herd that the car is a renault

  • @whiteley1989 Yeah, it was a Renault. It wasn't stored in a container I don't think, just secured to the deck down in the cargo hold. I don't think it's been definitely found, but I've seen pictures which seem to show part of a headlight in a mound of debris in the hold.

  • Even if it was possible to raise it, what would be the reason for doing so?

  • @GeorgeKM84 The ships history, people want to see the ship. it was from hundred years ago man

  • @keith4291 wait april 14 was the day it sink thats my birthday

  • @popstar27430 It hit the iceberg on the 14th, but sank in the early hours of the 15th.

  • it weights about like 46,000 tons...i dont think anything or the lastest technologies would lift it up, its impossible, let it be

  • @garrvue Even if it could be lifted up, it would completely fall apart. It's beyond rusted and the wooden interior would break at the touch. Not to mention the water pressure it's used to. Even if was possible to bring it up, it would fall apart. However, the most "stable" piece is the front half, because when it sank it adjusted to the water pressure, but the back half quickly had the water pressure forced on to it .

  • we can never tell who or what sank the titanic, it might be the ice berg or something's wrong with the machine while they working on, a fuse, cable lines, something must've sank the titanic....that is a mystery....it probably take alot of technologies to raise her....its impossible...its about 46,000 tons

  • I played this on mute ... just incase something pops up...

  • the titanic should be left in piece from those who lost their lives on a great ship that used to be it is a grave from many people under the sea i learned this from my teacher Douglass CrumptonMurray

  • the titanic it' s was so beautiful

  • that's amazing

  • To think, it hit an iceberg one freezing night in April 1912, and it's been resting there ever since. That ship once had a captain, a crew, passengers with dreams of moving to America. It's amazing and tragic at once.

  • This is a very creepy footage but yet amazing... I've always loved the Titanic. I'm like okay, it'd be nice to raise it, but we can't. And anyways, we should just leave it where it is and respect those people. Have a heart, people. Don't you want to respect the people who went on that ship and died there? Okay, it's a ship, it'll disappear, but the memories will remains forever.

  • There is no need to bring Titanic to the surface, it is a perfect memorial to the people who lost their lives on that fateful night.

  • uaaauu

  • :( all those poor people

  • @keith4291 Horrible as it sounds, its because she sank is the reason she is famous. If she didn't sink, would we know her name? Would we know the names of the people? We will never know. It is also though the disaster, many people have come from the obscurity and have been propelled into immortality.

  • @radeakins If she hadn't sank, she would have ended up just like her sister ship, Olympic, and that is a final destination of a scrap yard. Britanic sank in the Adriatic, but no one ever has any interest in her.

  • Scary to think that people used to be aboard that.

  • I wish there was more footage.

  • this is a very powerful video titanic will always remain in the heart....../

  • very sad... R.I.P.

  • Incredible I hope we can bring out of the water soon before it's completely rusted and is impossible to move without damage.

  • @StudioGimmick she's never coming out...good luck

  • Its impossible to bring it up. Once the metal hits the oxygen it would fall apart. Its been under water way to long and they have said that even if they tried to bring up pieces it would simply fall apart after being under so much pressure and lack of oxygen

  • I'm jsut plain sick that all these people invest a large amount of money to always record videos of the friggin bow of the ship, and rarely they show you footage of other parts of the wreck. All the videos I find about the Titanic underwater show the dang bow, I wanna see something different!!! Even in the dang 1997 movie, guess what? The DANG BOW!!!

  • Is it true that they are trying to bring it to surface? I heard that's what they are trying to do but are scared about it breaking again, considering how old the ship actually is

    ???

  • @TheHippyRose they've tried but its too old it would break. most think its there to stay. i hope it comes back up

  • @TheHippyRose They cant. The boat split in 2 when it hit the bottom due to the air pockets imploding due to the water pressure when it sank. It was an idea to pull it up, but in the shape it is in now, I doubt the ship would survive any movement.

  • It would be really cool if before the Titanic is gone forever they can get some lights down there and really show what is left of the ship I don't know why they haven't already

  • i feel so sad of what happen to those people who died RIP

  • very sad rip

  • very sad

    RIP

  • there is gold in the ship

  • i feel bad for all those people who died on the ship and look how the ship is so rustie and old it look's it been so under water for a long time i wish i can reverse time so i can go back and these people lie's that tanic doesin't work's any more

  • they are trying to get it out and restore it.

  • @mastersix100 dude its 3700 meters below the sea and weight tens-of-thousands tonnes ...

  • @SebasRabet Your point being? It's not impossible! If it floated in the first place, they will be able to get it to float again.

  • Thats the creepiest thing ever.

  • i just love the heart break breath take boat titanic!

  • they shold go back!

  • It's imposible to get titanic out of the sea :( cause weighs tons and 12000 some od ft

  • Why dont they get titanic out of the sea ?

  • @enenenn idk they said they just want 2 keep it their

  • @enenenn Because it's a sort of watery grave, And they are scared that it will brake.

  • @enenenn They cant just do that, its not that easy, its never gonna happen, the vessel would simply fall apart if they tried 2 raise it, its been underwater for nearly 100 years now so it would not have the strength it once had, besides it would cost an absolute fortune, it wouldnt be feesible.

  • @enenenn It's impossible

  • I cried, because this ship is sooo beautiful and peace ful

  • what an a terriable way to die.people trying to come to america to have a better life and die like that.its mind blowing how they would only have less then half the boats.

  • at 1:48 I couldn't help but thinking.... People have walked these decks.... and most didnt live to tell the tale...

  • It would be absolutely impossible to raise this vessel, first of all its in 2 seperate parts so whoever wanted 2 raise it they would have 2 launch 2 seperate missions, anyway its a gravesite 2 all those who perished, besides the world is in 1 of the biggest recessions in living memory so the cost would be astronomical, and it has deteriorated so much over the last 100 years or so which means it would just fall apart even more if, in the extremely unlikely event that they would attempt 2 raise it

  • new favorite word: rusticles

  • just wondering...anybody know of any other ships that sunk from hitting icebergs before or after the titanic?

  • may all the people who died rest in peace

  • I feel so bad for the people who weren't found and didn't get to be buried. Their families never got to see them ever again..

  • A mark of respect for those who died during the sinking.

And yet it's got a somewhat scary look because why haven't they found any bodies-parts of bones of people who stayed on the ship when she sunk?

  • you dont take away whats not yours, its called grave robbing

  • that is so sad

  • footage is haunting and so is the music...

  • @chrysanthos66

Yeah, she's buried in more than 50 feet of mud while in fragile condition (e.g., all of the wooden flooring is has been eaten away). In the distant future, she will fade into a rusty blotch on the ocean's bottom.

  • The Titanic was the world's largest ship when she was finished.

When she hit the iceberg and sank, she then became the world's largest SUNKEN ship.

  • that bathroom was the one in Captain Smith's quarters

  • is at 2:31 a bath ?

  • wow such a great discovery

  • I had to come back to Titanic after seeing the recent tragedy that has happened in Russia.

Although they are slightly different events they both share the same thing in common....

    RIP

  • @RainfulPhenix what happened

  • R.I.P Titanic

  • Spooky...

  • @chrysanthos66 Even if there was the structure would be so weak it would probably just collapse as soon as they were to lift it.

And they can't even raise it because it's seen as a graveyard to all those who died.

  • it is true people dont you know my graet papa was on that ship and he die :(

  • i love the titanic so much it made me cry why did they have too die why

  • Such a disaster, but such a great movie :)

  • people are saying titanic will collapse in 20 years. i dont want that to happen

  • sweet video

  • SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SADDDD

  • R.M.S TITANIC IS FULL OF SEA WEEDS

  • @mermaidlopez There's no seaweed 12,000 ft down

  • 2:35 in the to the right side you see a lil fishy!

  • you dont know how much i would LOVE to go to the bottom of the ocean to see the titanic... for real !

  • ..is this true ?

  • I was just watching "titanic: the final secret" and I guess it's not that she wasn't strong enough or tough. there was something else. wish I get to snorkel in there and see how big she is.

  • There is something very very creepy about this footage. its so dark and eerie

  • did you know that a guy predicted that the titanic would sink even before it sunk

  • @TheSkinny525 yeah. there was a guy that was on the ship and felt there was something about the ship that he got off of it before the ship even sailed away to the ocean

  • Is it strange that my TV is right next to me and It's showing Titanic?

  • It`s sad to see this, especially with the haunting audio. Anytime I review world history where a man made disaster takes place, I always say the same thing. The biggest man made disasters are always caused by two key ingrediants, the stupidity of man and the gullibility of people. The kicker to me is "unsinkable". My father once said to me "You put enough holes in anything it`s gonna sink" RIP to all who parished on the Titanic And to the survivors who lived the nightmare.

  • 2:31 the captain's bathtub.

  • she's at rest now, god bless you titanic

  • which is worse the twin towers or the titanic?

  • jack i will never let go

  • yeah but the stupid girl let go

  • where did they find this music, ha

  • I just went to the titanic exhibition it was amazing and sad to think of those who died. Everyone gets a passenger and the lady i got survived and so did her 7 year old daughter sadly her husband did not

  • @Cottoncandii001 thats SOOO cool ! where do you go to a titanic exhibition?

  • @mallorylovesyou123 it's actually still touring, do a search and see if it's coming around to a museum near where you live. It's definitely worth the money and is really amazing!

  • Simply Sad

  • In the movie the titanic..there is a scene where Rose and Jack make out in a car in the cargo dept..That car being in the cargo dept is true..it belong to one of the millionares that were on board..to this day they havn't come across that car..some think that maybe it's crushed under the ship

  • @Midnightryder7 id coulnt cause the ship crashed but the iceberg crashed in the bootom iof the ship n the car was on the 5th floor n there were 7 flors so it might be in a tube or someting and might ony hve a litle hole like tha big openin might be in the flor of soeting like a wall or floor of the ship so yaeh

  • Was just expecting a body to pop out at any minute...

    Thanks to the Jaws movie.

  • a moment of silence ...... this is real sad and draning is not a good way to die :,(

  • R.I.P. people and animals lost on the titanic or in the atlantic ocean. R.I.P.

  • @chrysanthos66 sadly no. trying to raise now would be like putting tongs to melting butter. she's disintergrating fast. there's mainly only the bow section left. the sterns almost completely structureless now. there have been predictions that the entire structure of titanic will collapse by as early as next year

  • poor ice burg

  • @CoreyMr1212 What the heck! This really isnt something to joke about. If u were on that ship, you wouldn't want someone to say that! Think about how many lives were lost on that ship. You are evil.

  • @captinoasis49 dude its cool its not the captains fault that the ship sank and people's lives were lost, its the ice burg fault

  • @nass273 its not anyones fault not even the icebergs. OK the iceberg didnt say "Oh hey a ship, maybe I'll sit/float in front of it and see what happens." It was just fate i guess. But its not anyone fault.

    I rest my case.

  • i don't know why but this vid creeps me for some odd reasons

  • @irfan123100 I got also same creeps as you do. God knows whats lurking in those shadows of that nasty ghostwreck >.<

  • 0:09 to 0:52 .... why leonardo dicaprio and kate winslet are not there? where are they?

  • i like the movie with lenardo

  • gives me chills everytime i watch this video!

  • @jacksite2007 if they were going to disturb it completely, we definitely have the tools for it by now, and we would have. I do understand where you are coming from, but if it wasn't for curiosity we wouldn't have come as far as we have.

  • this is so sad :( i wish that stupid glacier was never there:( poor ppl

  • @lipsingingboy it was an iceberg that sunk the titanic a glacier is something totally different.

  • Has anyone ever sent an ROV down into the funnel hole? I've never seen any images/video from inside there.

  • 1,7 million views, 14 comments......

Well, obviously the uploader just started accepting comments 2 weeks ago. That's the only possible explanation.

  • It is History and why not capture and share our past. I don't the deceased would mind n would appreciate their story n whatever remains ,to be shared.

  • @steveferg13 ok, so you would, in essence, dig up a deceased relative and parade around thier coffin in museums and art galleries?

  • @steveferg13 More then just be shared, i think if you where on a ship and you could feel the cold ocean lap and your feet and you knew you where going to die you would be furious at hte thought that nobody would think of you, or you would just be another number in some chart. No not forgetting is the best- you are so right this needs to be shared

  • @NecoMimi43 Historically interesting or not, the Titanic remains a grave, and should be respected as such. As for being furious at people being forgotten, I don't think we need worry about that. Not everyone gets the biggest movie of all time written about their death...

  • Weird to think people once stood on that very ship.

  • The people who think it's ok to take objects from the ship are terrible. Making an attraction by taking dead peoples objects is sick. They better leave the ship down there, or you would be trashing the Rest In Peace saying for over 1.5 thousand people

  • @jacksite2007 It was 1523 people

  • @jacksite2007 I completely agree. I bet some of the people who think it's right to disturb the shared grave of over a thousand victims would be the same people who'd be first to bitch about disturbing Ground Zero.

It's a tragedy, but the victims should have their resting place left alone.

  • outstanding :)

  • This is really sad to see. i remember being about 10 when i used to be obsessed about the ship and stuff....all i can think of are the poor husbands left alone, and those in 3rd class having to drown....

    it still makes me cry.

  • poor titanic :(

  • @blakenob123 ik dude this is so sad :(

  • @blakenob123 poor titanic? poor people

  • This gives me shivers... *Shiver*

  • you know, it's crazy that the Titanic sank on her first voyage. Why? was it a sign? who can be blamed for this? no one can. something that is all said and done...

  • nearly 2million views and im the first to comment, thats weird. well i may aswell just tell u guys that my auntie marian was on that ship when it went down, my dad said she died sometime in the 70s. peace

  • hihih :)

  • (R.I.P) R.M.S Titanic...
