but i do agree to sides and at least there protest r not hurting like others have bombing abortion clinics or murdering the doctors and there family in not so recent history now if we had that pill then women could make that choice before risking the doctor or clinics putting them in jeopardy. It can be taken soon the next day from there bad decision of giving into peer pressure or hormones

Making your own decisions is critical.

You cannot 'thin out' the boxes in the multiple-choice scenario we're all a part of.

We can comment, argue, empathise, pursuade and dissuade, but we CANNOT make anyone's decisions for them.

Nor should we.

I also think the legality of abortion is a moot point. Tabacco's legal status doesn't influence my decision not to smoke ciggarettes.

Same with any other substance you care to mention.

I am not pro life because of religion but because I was harmed by abortion. I had an abortion 11yrs ago & I now deeply regret it. Many women live with this regret. Others claim that they don't regret their abortion but I personally believe that they are successfully repressing their feelings. I did. For 8 yrs, I was actually glad. But in reality, I numbed myself from feeling anything regarding my abortion.

Oh my, I am so sorry you had to go through those deep feelings of pain and regret.. I can only imagine that it takes years of healing. I have seen the hurt and pain in family members of mine that have gone through having an abortion. My heart goes out to you. I am male, and people often take the stance that the man in the situation is unnaffected. All too often I think about when this happened to me and my then partner. There are so many feelings; some contradictory, some even unexplainable, but there is a remaining constant.

Everyone has the right to make their own choices. You made yours, the regret is your own - what is unacceptable is your assumption that everyone else would regret it - that they do not deserve the choice.

my friend had abortion and she does regret it she had deep sadness i hope that you are doin well and able to talk with others that shared your same because they truly r the ones who will know how to help you a support group others in your age group that have made decision and regret it life will be about regrets always and the pain is hard please get real people who have gone in shoes to help you ok not anyone else not me or anyone go real people not computer it helped my friend ok

Honestly, Candace, you are the RARE exception to the rule. I have yet to meet a "born again" who doesn't want to convert the world. I actually am Christian, but would present the argument that religion (mine or any other) just has NO PLACE in this conflict.

And if abortion is illegal, it is illegal for ALL...even the cases that I consider to be valid...though ultimately NOT my place to judge.
