  • They are really good

  • should had held the last note longer but wow

  • I clicked on this song because I have heard other tenors sing it. Ater seeing them do Beethoven on AGT I did not expect this. I thought they would butcher it. THEY ARE GOOD!!

  • Incredibly funny performance. My only issue is that the key was lowered to accommodate the performers. I would love to see these guys live.

  • Saw 'em in person a while back. Awsome. Nice guys Too.

  • WTF?????? @@ DAMN ..NICE voices haha!! I nearly peed myself on the names. Billy Billdee? LOL LOL. Anyway..MAN BEAUTIFUL voices!! Loving it.

  • dam thought it was gonna be funny as hell ill off to make me own redneck tenor group whos in lol

  • I think this is hilarious. The comedy comes from the background and the fact that you don't expect rednecks to be this cultured. The mullets are top notch!

  • It was beautifully done, but I thought the fourth person was a distraction.

  • Larry, Moe and Curly!!!??????

  • The middle guy looks like the Mayor of Oz ...LOL ...Here we have 3 rednecks waddle onto the stage with suits too tight for them. All 3 of them standing there like "stiffs" from the local cemetery ... and then they sing like total opera pros ... when I closed my eyes they were "wonderful" ... when I opened my eyes to look at them I busted a gut ... but, hell, yeah, they sounded awesome. Who was the final guy that cam on -- Gerry The Redneck Bartender? (haha) .. Applause!

  • Hee-Haw that was great!

  • You guys are great.... What a ACT! Red neck tenors, a novel idea!

  • that was actually quite a good performance...

  • Very nice rendition -

  • Okay, here's something you REALLY don't see every day!

  • Bravo!

  • wow

  • I love the wigs! I thought it will be bad but it's nice.

  • What a pleasant surprise! Very nice rendition!

  • I'm for anything that gets opera out there. Way to go Rednecks. And they sing Italian better some some "real" singers....

  • this went into my favorites right from the first note

  • They are as incredible as ANY tenor alive today.

    Wonderful.

  • I love this song? Very beautiful!!

  • I love this song? Very beautiful!!

  • I love this song? Very beautiful!!

  • They are actually credible singers.

  • The term Redneck originally referred to farmers and ranchers, because the back of their necks were usually sunburned because of being in the sun so much. It has evolved to refer to people who generally either live in the south, on a farm, in a small town, like country music or anyone who just wishes they were one of the aforementioned.

  • Wow... Nessun Dorma in four-part harmony. I've never heard it that way before, but it was beautifully done and I loved it.

    Thank you for posting.

  • @GuinnevereB With only three singers, four part harmony would be a neat trick.

  • That was really very good! Excellent!

  • well, ok not that bad that would make you run out of the theater, just walk out.

  • I love how they all have mullets.

  • uh...wow 0_0

  • THE BARS AND STARS?!~

  • Sweet, I feel at home now.

  • O my!! Amazing!! These guys sound GREAT!!! Wow!! Almost as shocked as hearing SUSAN BOYLE for the first time!!

    YAY!!!

  • Bravo! I loved it!

  • is the rest of the show funny?

  • It's hilarious. I see it everytime they perform near me (becase Im related to one of them) But its great

  • Hillarious.

  • The guy in the white is supposed to be the Female part!!

  • This was a pleasant surprise!

    I loved it.

  • Lil fiddler!!!! PLAY!!!!

  • They really are good...a moving version, but they should drop the redneck stuff!..I'd like to hear the tenor sing this alone...I think he'd do it well!

  • Loved it, sounds like the arrangement from The Opera Band. My one quibble, that low voice sounds like a bass.....

    That was cool.

  • In the script, as part of the early story, the third tenor had to be replaced because he was in a terrible woodchipper accident! So, he was replaced last minute with another one of their relatives who is normally a baritone. For the purposes of their show, they are calling him (if you close your eyes and listen as they suggest) a lazy tenor with no high notes. No need to quibble....

  • You're right. The show starts with one of the original three dying in a wood chipper. So another cousin joins in, not a tenor.

The premise is that three tenors, like three sopranos, or three you-name-it can really only sing in unison. Kinda boring, at least not as dynamic as having different voices, which allows harmony (chords and a richer sound).

  • fabulous, but they're not tenors!!!

  • I can't believe I just missed these guys. I wanted to hear la donna bella.

  • what does mean redneck?

  • if your asking what "redneck" means..its a term used to describe a mostly less intellagent american normally who lives in the south

  • It means, essentially, from the country side, or backwoods. It also implies crudeness and extreme ignorance.

  • In the United States, a "redneck" or "hillbilly" is a poor or working-class white person. It used to be limited to certain regions of the United States, but now you can find people who call themselves "rednecks" all over the country. =)

  • niceeeeeee!

  • Pretty good

  • they really should drop the "redneck" factor or whatever redneckedness there is about them

  • quite unique fkN Fantastic!

  • Alright, you got me. Decidedly not what I was expecting. This might be one of the best renditions of Nessun Dorma I've heard. Also, these guys sound classically trained. Does anyone know if they were or not?

  • The redhead one went to Juliard on a full scholarship and performed in Phantom of the Opera and at many huge opera places :P

  • the tallest one, the baritone with the dark mullet, was my mom's choral director all through high school

  • I'm utterly stunned at their ability to synchronize so well together.

  • The tenor of the right, his voice remembers me Carreras voice

  • I am just amazed. I clicked on the video to see how they would be butchering a beautiful song, but...wow. Those three are truly good singers.

  • yah, me too! amazing voices!

  • I have never heard of these guys! They are AWESOME! I loved the trailer in the background lol. Absolutely incredible.

  • Really good again !

  • Charming.

  • very cool clip. I enjoyed this one almost as much as I've enjoyed the Paul Potts clip. One question... can someone tell me who was the fourth guy to come on the stage?

  • His name is Dinny McGuire. He plays the part of "The Colonel" in their stage show. He is a tremendous talent, as he narrates and moves the performance along - "managing" the Boys. We just saw the show for the third time. If it ever comes to your town, run out for tickets. You won't be sorry!

  • jajajajajajaja

  • You know, they make me rethink what a redneck really is... As a lover of operas, I thought they were going to destroy this, but even their annunciation of Italian is flawless! OMG!

  • real rednecks probably don't watch TV...or own one! the only tv they watch is the one at the bar when the sports are on...

  • That is probably the dumbest thing i have ever heard about rednecks. I live in mississippi right in the middle of the largest redneck populations lives and where the term was coined. Just about every redneck I know loves to watch TV on their couch drinking beer. Redneck doesn't always mean poor. Its a lifestyle and most of the time a choice. Don't dis when you know nothing about what you are talking about. Rednecks can love opera Too!!

  • rednecks always have 2 tv's. one that works stacked on top of the one that doesn't.

  • good for these guys.

Regardless what you think of them. They bring to classics to people who would never listen to them without these three.

    Kudos

  • mullet music power!!

    amazing voices , impressive!

  • I have to echo someone else. I too expected this to be a joke but it was beautiful. I've never heard it with harmonies before. Thank you for sharing. This gentleman are fantastic.

  • I didn't know nessun dorma had a 3-part arrangement... hrmmm... it's really pretty

  • They actually sing well. But the fact is, their whole "redneck" show facade is backed by their professional training as opera singing.

  • One word : WOW That's so nice!

    ( i know 4 words :P)

  • awesome

  • 00:48 great emotion !

  • best version I've heard

  • best version ever

  • wonderfull voice's...

  • They've lowered the key... bu it's still way good.

  • holy crap...who would imagine three dudes with mullets like crazy could ever sing that amazingly strong!!! WOWOWOWOWOWO!!!

  • awesome armonization... great vid... = )

  • Awesome singing; those are some tight harmonies!

  • nice

  • great....

  • This is great. Country folk listening , performing and enjoying Opera. I am a classically trained musician raised in NYC. I grew up listening to Tom T Hall, George Jones, and Charlie Pride, and this makes me feel great.

  • you are a presumptuous snob

this is a musical comedy group, and the members are probably more refined, educated, and trained than you are; compared to them, you are a redneck

  • Excellent version, only thing is there not Tenors !

  • i'm so proud of you guys! i remember when y'all did this at the palace for the first time!

  • I thought this was going to be a joke video. But it was actually really really good. And that woman at the end screaming made me wanna cut my ears off, but it was still worth the watch.

  • Very good guys congratulations. Just remember to get the words right next time. It is "que ti fa mia" and not "que ti famiGLIA". Good job.

  • Oh stop being such a snob.

  • It's not about being a snob, you moron. What if an Italian singer sings "Ebry bahlee" instead of Every valley? would you think someone correcting him/her would be also a snob?

  • Funny you'd use an example like that. Every time I heard Pavarotti, Carreras, Domingo, et al. sing pieces like the National Anthem they always butchered the pronunciation. Doesn't subtract from the art.

And before you call me a moron. Yes, I saw each of them many times live. I grew up practically on the steps of the SF War Memorial.

Oh, and unless you've performed a principal role on the stage of the Met or originated a Broadway role, I'd back off these guys.

  • duh they are rednecks!

  • I love the combination of these guys voices, very rich and powerful, rednecks or no, I love them!

  • What else can I say except these are fantastic voices. More opera, please

    Lorre from Ogdensburg

  • You were just here in Ogdensburg and I can't tell you how much we small town people appreciate your great talents. I loved you last year and again thie year. You promised to return next year and I hope with more operatic arias. We're starved for opera and , of course, comedy lightens all our hearts.

    Your greatest fan, Lorre

  • By far the best spoof of this type was the old Cingular Wireless ad where the cowboy was playing the guitar and singing "La donna e mobile" - and the ad campaign was something like "be yourself". Wonder if there's a video clip of that anywhere. Probably went over many people's heads.

  • That was actually very good! I saw them first on America's Got Talent, They're terrific. And the trailer really adds the touch. Fantastic guys! Fantastico!

  • ;-) Welche Drogen nehmen die? Will ich auch haben!

    Whitch Drugs they have ;-)

  • Comment removed

  • Oh my gosh! That's absolutely hilarious! Totally spoofs the "Three Tenors" big time with a country and Western flavor and actually performs the music quite well, evenif taken down a couple steps from the original key.

  • that was great... :)

  • Bravo! Bravo! (applause)

  • Holy smokes!!!! WOW!

  • i saw them in a show once. i dont think they should call themselves rednecks. thats just my opinion.

  • Why, wuddya got against rednecks?

  • Brilliant!!

  • To bad they did not win, their what las veges is all about

  • lol... i bet they would had won american idol LOL!

  • fantastic; inspiring; great voices

  • there really awesome i love opera and i luv them

  • amazing thanks for putting up a quality one

  • Why didn't they do this act on America's got talent??!?!?! IT'S A HELL BETTER THAN THAT BABABA. Where they affraid that the American Public won't vote for them?

Look at Paul Potts, he won the British got talent by signing Opera: Nessun Dorma.

  • Well Actually Paul Potts won British got talent by singing "time to say Goodbye" he won the people heart by singing Nessun Dorma.

  • They were invited to appear on America's Got Talent... they didn't just decide to audition. There were numerous acts on there who were invited because they were professionals. I couldn't tell you exactly who, because I didn't watch the show. But at any rate, Beethoven's 5th is kind of their signature song so I'm guessing that's why they did it.

  • brilliant

  • not bad for buncha rednecks

  • Much better than the "real" 3 tenors!
