Actually, Rizzuto was in uniform at this OTD. After Mantle is introduced, number 10 can be seen and that’s Rizzuto. He’s the fourth one in from the end. As a matter of fact, he may have even still played in the OTD game at this one because of the era of the participants that year. I think it was sometime in the early 1990s DiMaggio and Rizzuto did began to stop wearing the uniform as I recall, as some do once they get older.
It’s definitely 1985, with it being the 50th year for DiMaggio. This was an older group of players with it being all DiMaggio teammates and opponents that year. Mostly all players from the 1940’s in an OTD game. The youngest one there would have to be Mantle, who came up in DiMaggio’s last year in ‘51.
@cttorr Yes, most definitely '85. At roughly 3:58 there's a quick flash of the left field fence, and the 379 marker can be seen. 1985 was the year they moved the fences in from 387 to 379 in left (and 430 to 411 in left center).
@jpwjr1199 1983 Yankee Old Timers Day was the last time the old Championship banners were hung on the outfield wall and the theme was honoring the 50th Anniversary of the All-Star Game (since I was there). Also at that time Mantle was placed in "permanently ineligible" list by Kuhn due to his work at Claridge Resort and Casino so The Mick was not there in 1983.

@mlabot ya know, you're right! I noticed the outfield wall said 379 where it would have read 387 prior to 1984.
