My hubby and I sort of just happened by accident. We got to know eachother on a roadtrip and traveling has been our thing ever since. Anyway, on one Valentines Day I brought this huge. antique looking map and started placing little hearts on all the places we've been to together. Although I wish I would have thought of your "dating notebook" idea so I can look at it later in life, although I can always look at our world map :)

I think your "dating notebook" is a super cute idea. I'm bi-racial and my hubby is asian and that's one thing that we realized we didn't have enough of, recorded history/pics/video of our dating relationship. We have tons of pics from our engagement and onward, but not so much during our dating years. Anyway, cherish it.
