  • I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Today (November 2) was All Saints' Sunday. We sang this as our opening hymn. It is #423 in Evangelical Lutheran Worship in the Festivals, Commemorations section. Just thought I'd share.

  • Owhh!!! Sooooo heavenly!!! God bless the arranger, the leader and the singers! I believe the angels were singing with you all...

  • This is so lovely. Thank you so much for recording this :o)

    God bless

  • In Japan, there's actually a kid's playground song about raccoon testicles to the tune of this hymn, it goes like this:

Tan tan tanuki no kintama wa

    Kaze mo nai no ni

    Bura bura.

    Here's a rough translation:

    Ra, ra, raccoon dog's testicles

Even though there is no wind

    They swing and sway everywhere.

  • It's your duty to post it.

  • Reminds me how much I need God each day. I want to fall to my knees in thanks and praise. Glory to God.

  • Amen.

  • very nice our choir has done this and it's one of our favorites.
