I have been in a similar situation. I have judged a pageant where the wrong winner was crowned. One judge put parenthesis around some of her score totals, so the accountants that tallied the scores subtracted her totals from her score instead of adding them! Miss Beezley is the true winner and Miss Silva should chalk it up as a life experience and move on! She can always compete next year!

Interesting that Gretchen Carlson did not mention there was a scoring error that was never corrected the year she won Miss America. That year the interview score carried over from prelims and accountants forgot to add it in. When she was announced the winner the prelim judges looked at each and went WTH?Story did not come out until the next August.
