  • Thank you! I've been trying to figure out how to do this and the only videos that kept coming up were about two strand flat twists. I'm going to try this!

  • DIS IS TOOO UGLYY MESSED DAT GIRL HEAD UP

  • WAX u mean jell or jam DDDDDUUUUUUHHHH

  • @CautionDisGurlKrazE Thanks for watching

  • @CautionDisGurlKrazE no , she means wax, hair wax (also know as hair pomade) holds better than jam (for some hair types) & doesn't flake like gel.

  • @072885RL Thanks

  • @CautionDisGurlKrazE if u know so much on what to use how u end up watching this anyway??

  • Respond to this video... this whats up taught me alot

  • I'm 13 and I wanna to do this but I can't my hair is short to medium but it above the neck and I'm black but don't know how to do it. Well when I do it it looks really loose and funny.

  • @amaried98 Thanks for sharing that

  • i usually take a little jam and smooth out the edges and i try to strat from the very tip of the hair line....i use hair clips to hold the ends down so they dont loosen up...put under a dryer to get a little hard...u can add alittle lotta body to the hair to make them stay alittle longer and look alitte neater.....hope this helps.....good job my sista

  • @320cocobrown Thanks for watching

  • can you do this with any hair type? bc i dont have textured hair and i heard twists and locs only look right with textured hair

  • @lovelydiva06 Sorry to hear that just keep trying

  • camera is not goood

  • You did a good job who could have possibly given you a thumb's down?

Can't wait to try this on someone.

Have you ever done this on natural hair? Is it POSSIBLE to do it on natural hair?

    *I'll try it lol*

  • @DreamGyrl360 Yes you can do it on natural hair it probley want look neat long

  • @DreamGyrl360 Of course it is. You would probably just have to straighten the hair first to get a smooth twist.

  • Thanx for the answer :)

  • @theladyp You are welcome

  • Very informative! Great job!

  • @spiritualgal07 Thank you

  • @Jacenta1

Im a blond, do you think my hair would hold this?

  • @onetrupairing The way to know is to braid your hair and see

  • @onetrupairing dampen your hair before twisting then spray w/ a holding spray after and tie it down.

  • Great video, I'd like to know if we can sleep with twisted hair or if this is just for a party or special occasion, like we do a ponytail?

    Thanks

  • @theladyp Yes you can sleep on this hair style just tie your hair up with a scarf before going to sleep.

  • @theladyp u can sleep wit it on sumtimes i do it 4 special occasion but i just leave it on until i want to do a different style on my hair

  • I think its easier to do 2 sum 1 else than urself

  • Great hair style my hair is about 1 inch from scalp after recovering from the bald head my husband left me with one he slipped up with the clipper, is it possible to do the twisties or do i have to wait till it gets longer.

  • @Thefiftieschick Just try and see if you can grab the hair and braid it. if it don't work then wait until it grows a little more.

  • @Jacenta1 Thanks Sweets will see if it works if it don't guess don't have a choice but to wail, lol.

  • @girlcmw1972 you only go bald if you do it wrong....i get perms every 6-8 weeks by my best friend(who's a professional hairdresser) and my hair is growing fater than ever.

  • do yu kno how to do kinky twists????...if so can you maik a how to video...

    thnx

  • no I dont know how to do kinky twists I tryed but if didnt work out

  • I love them the only thing is that I personally prefer doing them with wet hair and dissolving gel with water so that they can last longer but you did a good job

  • thank u

  • what gel, wax do u recommend using for natural curly hair to make a twist stay and not get poufy or unravel?

  • aloe vera gel or IC fantasia gel

  • You can also use JAM on the hair to keep it together, the JAM will hold it and provide sheen to the hair. The beeswax actaully leaves a thick waxy buildup in the hair

  • Beeswax should NOT damage your hair. This is the same type of wax that people use to start dreads. Beeswax can be use for different hair styles an hair types. Actually beeswax is wayy better than gel.

  • Beeswax or any other type of wax is actually very bad for dreads. It leaves alot of build-up which attracts dust etc to cause lint & dull dreads. its also a nightmare to wash out. most dreadheads i know of use gel specially formulated for locs, such as mango and lime (the clear one is best from what i hear. the orange one flakes) as for hair that isnt locked I have no idea if wax is harmful or beneficial. as a general rule i tend to avoid unnecessary products on my hair :)

  • Thank You

    Nuttacatz

  • thnksnow i no how to do it

  • does that wax damage your hair?

  • its not really wax its grease duh!

  • lmao i hear halo in the background

  • hater! i doubt it =]

  • how do u do the twist with hair added

  • my hair is coursed and my twist don't come out like that...mines look very nappy unless i get a perm but i tried so many times to get it right but i can't

  • laskwilla06, instead of twist, you should try two strand twist, they look very much alike, and also look very nice on natural hair types.

  • i tried to do a 2 strand and i did it but the problem is that i wanted to curl at the end and i can't do it in my regular hair....do you know how to curl your regular hair at the ends...thanks for the tips Beatumdown:)

  • press the hair out then do it....

  • so pretty!

  • thank u

  • great thank you :D
