It was very nice to be in Nassau, when I went. It was just sad for because I had a very short visit.

i love the vid. i went there during feb vacation and it was beautiful i stayed at the westwind 2 its a timeshare complex with very comfy villa's on cable beach right next to the crystal palace casino i had so much fun im going again next year too and the year after that

I would like to know how do you pay for things when you go ashore? If you do any shopping do you pay with cash/american money or do you give them your credit card number?

they do take american money there no problem spending money there

You can use US dollors or your credit card.

Sometimes they give you Bahimian money for change, you can ask them to give you only US back or you can keep the Bahimian money for souvenir Call 954-969-0069 for cruise information

we were on the U or upper deck i think is 4th floor and the Riviera was right below the Upper deck which would be 3rd floor. I hear the dolphin excursion is great but we did a horse and carriage ride as soon as we arrived,

to see th area which was great, I have video later on i am adding of that, we did the glass bottom boat tour which is a definite DO, we had Uncle Sammy taxi service did a tour for us which included the aquarium at the Atlantis which was fantastic. If you have a ;laptop don't pay 24 dollars and hour on ship off the ship in the square right off the ship has wifi and its free.Its a calypso band I just had the music, and you will hear that music all over while you are in the bahamas. Its cool!

Also, the first time you hit land, find a store and buy a couple of Cokes. Soft drinks are about $2/can on the ship and they add up quick, but not enough to buy the drink card. Get some Cokes (we got them in the Freeport Straw Market) and take them back to your room. They don't mind so you don't have to smuggle them. Our steward saw them and asked us if we neeeded ice.
