I'm not trying to be like every youtuber givin advice but.. my dad is a 18-1 thai boxer so i have a clue of what i'm talking about... You just need to loosen up a bit when you throw your strikes and the round house kicks i can understand... You're a tall guy and flexibility isn't too easy for bigger people.
If someone didnt see hip movement in this shadowbox he is clearly blind, not turning the hip while kicking in the air is just mark of laziness which i think everyone whos been training for ling time is doing. When youre shadowboxing you know how to kick oponent so point is to just mark the kick then move on to another technique - no point in doing pivotal hip throws ;p
why do you idiots compare buakaw por pramuk who is thai, and super star, just won lumpini title for best international fighter, to this guy in video, I train myself and I think this guy is good.
I agree with thruththaiboxer. This guys shadowboxing is terrible. No hip in anything he throws other than his 1, 2s! Buakaw would demolish this guy!!!! I could smash this guy. lol
i guess everybody in here leaving these comments dont no shit about real muay thai this guy sucks look up ramon dekkers buakaw those guys are real inspiration
i really love your kicks , especially those switch kicks.
haha i'm more of a boxer, so i hardly ever use my legs but you make me want to use em. i only use knees, and low kicks. hardly ever rh kicks or fronts.
@aayyyyrrreenn shadow boxing is when u visualize ur opponent and basically u are fighting the shadow. when shadow boxing u would have to think what u gonna do to your opponent and then do those combinations. or try to move ur body and head as a punch is coming or block or evade or parry. shadow boxing help improves in techniques, foot works, and give u muscles memory. basically it will improves your attack and defense mechanism. very good warm up, if u do it in front of a mirror it is best.
@nukex1989 for the most part you are right but shadow boxing in front of the mirror builds bad habits such as false judgement of distance and it also takes away the whole point of shadow boxing as you'll be clearly visualizing yourself instead of your opponent. look...does mr.schwarz use mirrors to shadow?
The problem is when the shadow is better than you 0.o
