  • Yeah you go Bill Maher.

  • This seems like it's all ripped off from Lappe's "Diet for a Small Planet." She better have gotten paid.

  • "Spartins, tonight we dine on meat"

  • love the children ^_^

but a vegatarian on a bike is better .. :)

  • And...factory farming is one of the most cruel markets there is. It is hard to eat something that has been tortured ... you can see here on PETA and other foundations.

  • Humans don't need meat, all the nutrients the body needs can be found in non-animal sources. Therefore it's immoral and unnecessary to slaughter billions of animals every year for food. This simple fact should be enough for anyone to go meat-free or even better, vegan. But when most people come to this point of the facts, they simply ignore it. Most humans are selfish, greedy, immoral and undisciplined. They won't give up a little bit of taste, even if people are dying for it. Which they are.

  • OK so we become vegetarians who give up their cars, use wood burning stoves and get our energy from the wind. This sounds like the dark ages to me! Meanwhile the Sun enters a grand minimum and every levels of the atmosphere is cooling along with the oceans. Look forward to abrupt cooling in winters to come.

  • one more reason to not eat meat: "earthlings"

    watch?v=ce4DJh-L7Ys

  • there's no point arguing over percentage points -they're ALL high! ALL of it has to change in order to reach sustainability. factory-farms are just disgusting; cruel; un-healthy environments & should be abolished. we need to go back to small-scale local farming. we have the technology to run cars on water! look up stanley meyer. this technology is being suppressed by the oil industry. our corrupt governments are just lackey whores for the corporate machine. this needs to change, or nothing will.

  • Torrenting this is a better idea.

  • I think you all should search "dont blame the cows" here on youtube for a realistic answer. Science proves over and over that corn and grain bi-product fed cows leave LESS carbon footprint than grass fed beef, and the claim that cows pollute more than cars is obsurd.. Watch "dont blame the cows" and see the truth.

  • what about the other 82%??? is that from meat too??

  • The Solution Is Zeitgeist Addendum Google it :)

  • Daily dosage of truth.

  • @meatthetruth what the hell? you polititions and other government people will try just about anything to get rid of us farmers, but now your taking it too far. us farmers are the ones who put the 8 ounce steak on your plates, and the leather shoes on your feet. and by the way i know for a fact that methane gas doesn't just come from livestock, it comes from pretty much every animal on earth. so screw off you damn politition.

  • @reptilehunter7 do you factory farm? if not then i believe you have nothing to worry about. watch the whole thing to see what i mean

  • why do I have a sudden urge to go to the big texan and get a 72 oz steak?

  • At 00:36 J-lo wanna be hahah sorry i had to do that lol

  • grass fed meat is the best mmmmm I would gladly pay 4 times as much for it.

  • When Bill Maher appeared I totally smiled... and now I feel like a creep.

  • Just over £825,000-worth of funding has been awarded by East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA), to Leicestershire Quality Meats enabling them to proceed with the building of a new state of the art abattoir at the cost of £2million

The new abattoir will cater for beef and lamb in the Midlands of England and will be a boost to the local farming community as well as providing much needed employment in the region

  • Meat-eating is on the rise in Egypt, despite rising prices and calls for boycotting red meat. A poll published earlier this year by the Information and Decision Support Center of the Egyptian Cabinet revealed that the consumption of red meat is increasingly in dramatic fashion.

“It is our duty to eat meat and we know it is healthy for us to do so,” said Omar Tarek, a father of three while standing in line at one of Cairo’s supermarkets

  • @waratahNSW no its healthy to get the stuff thats inside of meat mostly protein and you can get protein from many diffrent foods

  • oh, and also, isn't it interesting that in the 1970's the idea was global cooling, not global warming, but that seems to have been wiped out of history without any question. Sounds a little like Orwell's 1984, don't you think?

  • Ladies, the world is going to end soon. Do not waste another minute not having fun. Lets rock out with my cock out. Yee-haa!

  • Its all already started no way to stop it sorry... end of the world is on its way and the sad shit is that no one can do anything because we are small dots on huge massive corporations radar... sorry.

  • Global warming? I thought that the ballooning debt, the massive third world immigration and global terrorism were the biggest threat to the Netherlands. You are supposed to be a politician for the Netherlands aren't you? So doesn't that mean that you should look after whats best for the Netherlands?

  • @hshiek Yes, but since the Netherlands is still a country of this planet, the Netherlands won't be spared when the earth isn't there anymore. So we Dutchmen have to look beyond borders/care for the planet too.

  • @LMK22 And if the Netherlands spends too much time looking after the worlds problems, it wont be able to fix its own.

  • I love porkchops ! I love GMO Crops ! I Love corn fed Beef ! I Love The USA ! I Love PETA ( People eating tasty animals)

  • @mjtrmaj Well you're in luck. The Atkins diet is on the rise at a faster rate than vegetarianism, and we're getting ready to develop more meat production to answer the demand. (30 million vs 7 million in US)

Plus, organic farming demands organic fertilization: Animal poo such as cow pies and cow tea. Thus, we need more cows.

    ~~GO ORGANIC! :-)

  • @BewareofFlatteries honestly i don't think there's such thing as organic. as long as we humans have some contact with it, we alter it in some way, even if its in a small way. the only true way to have organic food is if it a wild plant or animal, and you hunt or forage it. thats the best way not to tamper with it.

  • I'd really like that tasty porkchop right about now...

  • I can't see how people continue to do this. The people who produce the factory meat a.k.a the government who doesn't give a care about our health, know that this is wrong treating animals like that just continue to do it.

  • Great video! Al Gore was NEVER an environmentalist. He was as much an environmentalist as Bush & Reagan were "soldiers" or "patriotic".

  • The United States needs to fund and support international heroes like Marianne Thieme and the Dutch MP Party fo the Animals. We need to get tough and outlaw meat. Start by denying ALL food to ANYone in America who voted for Gore, Bush, Kerry, Reagan or Clinton or any Democrat or Republican in any election. Throw them in prison for life so they get to feel what it's like

Meateaters HATE America, HATE freedom, and are unpatriotic pussy cowards.

  • @duck24x Yeah, the Dutch MP Party is the bestest.

  • I was gonna write a smart-ass comment to pown all you fucking faggot vegetarians... but instead I'm just gonna take my car, drive over to mc donalds and get me a burger... or maybe a couple burgers... just 'cause they taste so goddamn awesome, and you pussy herbivores can't do shit about it...

  • @48884BB And these are the comments that really make me open my eyes. Such enlightenment, such poetry. Nothing screams education like a vocabulary consisting of phrases such as "fucking faggot vegetarians" and "pussy herbivores."

  • im not a vegy head and i like my meat but this looks interesting

  • Dr. Frank Mitloehner has documented a major flaw in a 2006 United Nations report about greenhouse gas emissions from livestock production. Today the BBC reports that the U.N. has taken notice. One of the authors of the 2006 Livestocks Long Shadow report now admits that its estimates comparing emissions from livestock farms with those from transportation are FLAWED. A favourite talking point of the vegan anti-meat activists has been shown to be based on Flawed estimates.

  • @waratahNSW All I have seen is that they simply conceded that the comparison of transportation to animal industries is not "apples to apples". This however doesn't by any means eliminate or decrease the impact that animal industries have. It just means that their statement that said industries had more of an impact than all of transportation was a comparison that cannot be made on a 1:1 basis.

  • I've not seen any truth to what you have said ! Do you know how many acres it would take from the souther growing area to meat the demand. Start packing your bags. We need to tear up all that concrete to plant orange & apple trees for get the lettuce. Al Gore need to tear down his house first !

  • @mjtrmaj to meat lol

  • The sweet taste of propaganda

  • Quick stop breathing and shitting.lol

  • lyons eat meat, but they do it in the right way, i don't think that going vegetarian is the solution for us. we have to change, but no one by one. By the way, you better watch the whole thing before writing any comment. (:

  • Kangaroo's don't. And they taste good :)

  • The earth was hotter back when the dinosaurs roamed the earth because they had HUGE farts. What a f'n joke!

  • Don't get it twisted my friend. The global warming hoax does not erase the facts showed in the video. The mass production and consumption of chemically and genetically altered meat is not good for the environment, your health or your colon. This animals don't eat green healthy grass. They eat GMO pesticide sprayed corn.

  • @BrotherWinston My animals do... & I blissfully eat the meat.

  • Many have that conformist philosophic approach to life. Be "happy" as long as you can. Who cares if we pollute the air, food, water, kill bees, sick our children, sick the planet. I mean, who cares? Feck it.

  • @HubbyHubHub

You are so dumb... with no knowledge what so ever about these issues... stating it's all bullshit makes you a stupid person and gives your opinion zero credit!

You can not agree and live your life in ignorance and i would perfectly respect that, but keep your mouth shut that it happened before and that its earth natural clock like you know it all... the circumstances were all different and there weren't living 6 billion people on the planet... who's the loonatic now?

  • your the dumb one and extreemly stupid ,

if you looked into what i said youd know it can all be proved with proper tests and you can SEE the evidence, unlike your green peace bullsh't properganda lies which nothing has ever been proved its all second guesses and scar mongering you stupid little fart.

  • well, does anyone else have a better idea of how to feed 6 billion people meat? I dont think so, so this is how it will always be.

  • So what do these vegetarians want us to do? Let the animals go? Kill them off so that they aren't consuming food? Forests are being cut down for farm land because everybody's shopping malls are taking over the farm land already available. Think of how many fast food and shopping malls there are around first and think of how many are actually needed. How about we destroy all of these and grow some forests there.

  • yeah we need to burn down most of the buildings, especially in big cities, and replace them with farms and forests, learn to live outside without a tv or internet, take from the earth only what we need, learn how to feed each other and learn how to not kill each other, and we got it made,

  • all though global warming is bullshit, its called greenwashing(brainwashing), for the new world order agenda,

  • Meh, another propagandaish documentary. I agree with it, I'm a vegetarian myself. But this only scares people instead of presenting the facts in a more straight to the point manner.

  • I'm sorry friends but this is propaganda and if you buy this pretty actress then you are cattle. Pardon the Pun.

We have had the technology to reduce GHG's from cars, not chopping trees down.

@Danosproductions smashed it on the effing head...

"if you want to do something about it you could better stop burger corporations or join the wff to preserve the woods, then become an vegetarian."

  • This is not only about animal rights. It's about wrongful use of resources, it's about the gigantic impact the meatindustry has on global warming. I like meat, but I also like fish and soy products. A vegatarian meal can taste as good or even better than meat. Variety in food is good, there is no reason to eat meat every day !

  • They put al the animal industry together and call it "meat industry". And if you become vegetarian you're responsible for cutting down jungles in south america etc. They cut them al down for to make some nasty soya burgers for people without a mind!

  • So you didn't even watch the video?! If you did you would've seen that the rainforest disappears to make cheap food for our farm animals, who eat a lot more than we humans. If everybody would just eat soy burgers and no meat, there would be no need to cut down rainforest because we eat far less than those fat pigs and cows.

  • You don't really know al lot about farms do you, animals are not only hold for meat, they're more hold for products like milk, wool and others. But if an animal is really old and can nearly walk (or when there are to much) they go to the butcher. And the cheap food ist most common used for mcdonalds, if you want to do something about it you could better stop burger corporations or join the wff to preserve the woods, than become an vegetarian.

  • It's not neccessary to become a vegetarian, one or 2 days a week no meat would make a real difference !

  • It won't because to produce milk an cow first need to give birth, so if everybody wants to drink or eat milk products everyday there will be a lot of animals, and much animals need to be slaughtered to prevent an surplus, so if you really want to do something about it you should drink/eat not any product of an animal to make an real difference.

  • Soy is not the only alternative for meat. And don't forget you need 7kg of soy for every kilogram of meat. Less meat means less soy production and smaller soy plantations. And if you eat soy you can best eat organically grown soy (and not the 'monsanto 'gentech' soy).

  • seconded

  • everybody in holland thinks that she is an stupid slut, so don't listen to her. Here in holland she wants to forbid ball shaped aquariums! she is even stranger than right extremist WIlders!

  • Good post. The dogs will always bark and growl for its meat. Reason with a hungry dog...I dont think so...good luck...and as far as land use without cows, what about developing more solar collecters or lakes or anything but a nitrate soaked cancer producer. Thank you again and 5 stars

  • get a real argument, this is under researched and lame

  • Wat een kut film

  • @jepiromaan11 Hoezo?

  • not saying we dont need to take care of enviroment, but it has become clear co2 doesn't cause global warming, global warming causes co2.

  • what a babe. I dont know what she is talking about but I agree with her

  • vegetarian propaganda again?! idiots its CONVENTIONAL or COMMERCIALLY raised animals that re bad for you and your enviroment, proper farming grass fed certifid organic local animal meat would solve the same problem and mamke us healthier, maybe 10 000 years certain people who once thrived off meat could evlve to vegetarian but the fact is there is still great of the population that needs (clean organic local grass fed) meat fot good health!

  • why would anyone thumb this comment down?

  • Because it's completely wrong? For thousands of years, people were hunter/gatherers. Almost all of our food was plant sourced, although we would eat the small amounts of meat that we could catch.

  • And that's were it's all about. We don't need meat (every day) because there are good altenatives. Organic meat is surely better , but organcally grown soy and wheat is the best.

  • @AardeWerkDB well thats good then, go and live off wheat. oh sorry um... you can't.

  • @tamiyacar Why not ! I lived of wheat and soy products for a period of more then 9 years, no meat and fish at all. But nowadays I don't find it necessary anymore to skip fish and meat, I just eat less than most consumers.

  • @tamiyacar yes you can.

Wheat=pasta and bread. What else do you need?

  • its healthy to eat your veg. why not evreyone turn vegitaran and you can only buy meat on a certain day of the week from evrey store. you can only also buy a certain quantity . you can then chose when to eat this meat through out the week. this would also provide jobs. you could get beef lamb and chicken i have probaly forgoten a few but you get it on monday and then next monday you pick up your next batch of meat. this wud save alot of meat due to it being more valuble. mesage me with ur opinin

  • Code Geronimo I must admit I missed it the first time I read you post.

    A) Considering that For the Animals is a Dutch organization you must not be in the US. (not saying you are not entitled to your opinion, just a realization.)

    B) "Freedom fighters" comments paint you either as an extremist or delusional

From what I can see For the Animals is not a section of government but rather a political party. In short their politicians and politicians are soooo honest about their agendas.

  • So freedom fighters are extremists and when they win they are heroes just look at what happened in South Africa.

Delusional/ extremist all those words to place somebody in a category.

We want a honest world for every living being on the globe

  • Sigh...you are NOT a freedom fighter and it's highly insulting to paint yourself in the same category as those people risking their LIVES to stop genocide.

No one seems to like facts just mindless rabble. I never listen to only one side and most certainly would never take YouTube as gospel.

You have never answered what the US (ranked 4th in production) is suppose to do with there 100 million cattle? Refer to lower post on options & prices. So what's it going to be rabble or discussion?

  • A lot of people tell us that we cannot compare humans with animals I say that is a discrimination called speciesism.

Animals are in suffering our equals and to free them by word or deed is done by freedom fighters. You tell me the difference, you cannot because there is none.

About our cattle eat em don't breed them, so they'll die out, they aren't natural species anyway. You wanted a solution and this is it.

Lets get on with the endlosung or the planet shall suffer irreversibly and you too.

  • Ahh so your answer for ending the suffering is kill them all, not quite the animal freedom fighter you claim to be. Scary how you use endlosung, the word the Nazi's used for the extermination of Jews. Cattle are a natural species that has been domesticated, same as horses, cats & dogs.

I wondered how much of an impact methane had on the environment and researched, the picture is not near as clear as they would like you to believe. They are doing this to further their own agenda....endlosung.

  • Quote: Isaac Singer "In their behavior toward creatures, all men are Nazis. Human beings see oppression vividly when they're the victims. Otherwise they victimize blindly and without a thought."

About farm animals, they WERE natural species now they are molded to our needs, I hardly call that natural anymore.

Do you see another solution to the global problems we face if we continue our collective destructive consumption patterns? Or are you also a Holocaust Denialist on Eco matters.

  • All animals adapt or die out, saying cows are not a natural species is ludicous. Explain how cattle are now so extermely different than 200 yrs ago?

What you see as blk/wht I see a 1,000 shades of gray. I spent a couple of weeks trying to decipher the impact of methane to global warming. None of the credible sources I researched veiwed methane as the biggest issue we face.

I believe in looking to renewable fuel sources. Look into the Canadian Oil Sands for a green house bombshell.

  • One more thing on risking lives, I almost got beat to death at an animal rights protest in front of a circus.

I can show you the photo's that were made of me in the hospital and the photo's I made of myself during the healing process.

There is a lot of hype about animal activists and they are even called terrorists (harsh words) for freeing animals, but no word in the press about the violence committed against us.

And I am a peacefull protester with strong views on animal protection.

  • What would you do with the land that the cattle once ran on? Much of the ground cattle run on are ill-suited for farming. Hills, sandy soil, shale and little rain are but a few causes of non-tillable ground.

With the surplus of grains the small farmer would be obliterated. Large corporate farms with their bulk buying power would dominate and control the markets.

In closing I can only say people do your own research, just cause it's on YouTube doesn't make it real.

  • Most of these grounds were forests (especially in South America). So let it become forests again. Al the surplus of grains we can eat instead of meat. There a high quality proteins in grain, as a source of protein it is even better than meat.. And grains and soy as a protein source (for people, not for animals) can be a solution for the world food problem. I eat meat, but not every day. So can you, and everybody else !!!

  • For every question there is an answer people are innovative enough to give that land another purpose.

And if there is a surplus in buying power from the big, than you give them quota's and subsidize the small farmers.

  • Cows can live 12-15 years so this is not a solution that will go away if left for them "to die off". Even so it roughly cost $350 to run a cow for the year. Considering there is roughly 100 million cattle in the US that's a huge chunk of change for the government to fork out every year. (Nobody's going to do it for free) Or if we put them all down it will run approx. $850 a head plus disposal & vet fees.

Brazil & India have 200 million cattle by the way.

  • Why not have people continue to eat them, as they always have, and just breed less animals?

  • By one side I was talking of the animal right extremist like PETA, who most certainly has been on the governments terrorist watch list for years.

Your most common breeds have been around for centuries and I'm not sure what difference it would make if they were man manipulated breeds anyways.

I will apologize for my last post snippy tone, I try to keep it pertaining to the facts but did let my frustration cloud my words.

  • Fifty one percent, are you pathological or just ignorant? The highest credible percentage I've found still has Agricultural by-products in the high teens.

All you have to look at is this: presented by MP Marianne Thieme (leader of the Dutch party for the Animals)

For crying out loud don't let one side, a side that has been on the governments terrorist watch group for years, provide you with all your information.

Again, are you suggesting to kill all cattle? A certain percent????

  • The Party for the Animals on the governments terrorists watch list!? Are you pathological or just ignorant.

They are a part of our government and doing a good job.

And what you stigmatizing as terrorists are freedom fighters.

What the worlds modern cattle concerns they are manipulated species that didn't exist before man started manipulating the originals, they need to die out.

Get rid of the current amounts of livestock Go VEG and save the planet!

  • just so u know, TWO thumbs up

  • This preview is very good but it has a mistake in it, although sponsored by the Worldwatch Institute. It is now know that not 18% of global greenhouse gasses but 51% are from livestock production according to the Worldwatch Institute.

  • For an ideal middle ground between meat-eating and vegetarianism, find out about mammaltarianism, a diet that excludes most mammal-meat.

    Search "Mammaltarian" on YouTube.

    Go Mammals!

  • MORONS:

You can all eat all the meat you want of course,

but now you know the other consequences, besides colon cancer.

  • Emmm there some yummy lookin meat here to be eatin:-)

  • So are you suggest a complete cow annihilation, as even if we are not eating them they are still producing green house emissions? Cattle can live into there teens and of course as it's inhuman to castrate them (what they were doing to the little pigs) we will have the population doubling every two years. There is plenty of hot air being passed around...I guess I prefer the smell of cows rather then what the PETA groups spew.

  • I like meat. I will continue to eat it as I please. The end.

  • What were they doing to the baby piglets and chicks? Poor thing.

  • Can meat poison your blood cells? Just curious.

  • ¿Cómo he podido estar comiendo cadáveres tantos años sin darme cuenta?

    go vegan.

  • I'm starting to see the upside of eating veggies,....even tho eating NASTY Mcdonalds is very tempting im trying to eat healthier. I'm not gonna be totally vegen, but I'm gonna eat only ranch grass fed beef and eventually I can raise my own chicken and beef. The problem is the fast food disposable world we are trying to create....

  • I'll buy your DVD....well done guys

  • I would rather die from the effects of global warming than not to have the freedom to eat meat when ever I wanted

  • What a thrilling life you must lead if eating animal flesh is more important than your own existence!

  • It is not only you that dies from it, your family and friends will die too and at this moment the whole world gets destroyed by those who only think about themselves. Reconsider yourself and dive into the matter.

I used to eat animal products also but I wanted to take my responsibility for future generations and i don't want animals or nature to die for me.

Taste is a lower emotion, compassion to all that lives is the highest one.

  • Hell yeah!!

  • So if you're not giving up meat altogether, make it one less day a week. It's really not all that hard, and if it's that important to you, like EllaWildin said, your life is probably fantastic.

  • wow.....

  • cool vid

  • Consider that human mother's milk is 6% protein. At the stage in life when humans are doing the most growing their dietary requirement for protein is 6%. The best diet for humans is surely mostly fruit and succulent and leafy green vegetables.

  • this movie is amazing! i love it

more ppl should watch this its a real eye opener

  • bullshit^

  • thank you

  • My god!!! What a load of bullshit!!! (Hahaha hot bullshit)

Marianne you are out of your mind!!!

  • Well, then the 154.677 voters who voted on her party must be also "out of their minds"?? Open your eyes.

  • yes they are its easy to fool the masses

  • maybe you're a "mass" easy to fool, but i'm not. Expain rather why millions can vote for such retards as bush. Do your research correctly before "expelling" nonsense.

  • lol Obama has proposed preemptive detention, sent more troops to Iraq and Afghanistan, proposed legislation that will deny freedom to assemble and protest, his Justice Department is pushing a law that will make it impossible to sue the government if they eavesdrop on you.

Enjoy being just as big of an idiot

  • Americans are happy now because they have black president and can sound asleep.... whatever happens.

  • lol wut?

recent polling says that 61% of Americans believe America is on the wrong track, so I wouldn't say much of anyone's going to sleep happy.

By the way. He's not!! black!

have you not seen what color his mother is?

    Retard

  • You are really sick natured person to call me retard to begin with. I know his mother is white not because you told me but I read about him. You don't want to discuss about the issue, but just put me down because of your psychological experience you either consciously and/or unconsciously try suppress. Look in the mirror you dumb ass. Don't look at me and comment.

  • lol you mad? that I crushed you

  • ok dude no need to insult me.. i used to beleive in all this nonsense but seriously dude you werent there when non of this shit happened,, they dont care how they acheive it but the main mission is devide and conquer and it seems like its working.. by turning stoners into hard headed idiots.. i bet you smoke weed huh? i do too but when you see someone on the street just say hello and they will not succeed

  • When you take into account the total population of America, 155000 people is not that much...

  • LOL you can't even accept the evidence before your eyes. Ideologues like you have no brains.

  • All the critics among us: read all the researches we have used, making this film. I am sure your opinion will change...

  • Thats just it I do see the evidence !!!

Dig a mile long hole in the ground in the north pole and you will see thousands off lines depicting when there was and wasnt an ice cap PROVING BEYOUND DOUBT that the earth warms up and down as part of its cycle!!!

You have proved a cow farts ! WOW you should have asked me I could have told you that with out spending thousands of bucks !!!

  • What a load of BS propaganda. You know there is this big thing in the sky if anybody noticed called the SUN, which explains why other planets warm up and cool down - depending on solar activity. This is training us to be slaves, brain washing us into accepting a carbon tax - check out a web site called prison planet (remember the dot . ) com

HA ha ha, Cow flatulence - whatever next

  • lo zoccolo delle mucchine sante distruggerà il pianeta a causa nostra noi umani di merda!

  • And who tells you this ???

And what evidence have you the cause is co2 gases and not the natural eco system which changes naturally and which HAS been proved that we go from ice melting to ice rebuilding every few hundred years !!! I speak fact no fiction like you green people !!!

Maybe the dinosaurs gassed themselfs out with their own arse then !!! humm

  • Hi Fsaekar, the 'savings' Marianne talks about is not money, it is greenhouse gases, (CO2 and methane) which is what should be reduced.

  • Should we be entitled to a choice in what we eat? here comes the paradigm shift - we are not allowed a choice when it comes to raping, assaulting, owning slaves, etc...so why should we have the choice to make animals suffer and die when we can be healthy (and happy) on a plant based diet - and a B12 pill.

  • no matter what they say, the end is give us some of your money.

  • I just realised why shes so bothered !! the women at the beginning is a duck in a human clothes look at the size of that arse , its like a seat :s

  • What aload of horse radish !!

By the time anything happens to the earth it would have been burnt up by the sun as happened to mars !!!

At the worst case it would be 50000 years before you see the earth suffering from the gasses and that is far way off for me to be bothering about it !!!!

I'm going for a nice bloody steak yum yum :)

  • I don't know where you get your information from.. It is a generally acknowledged fact that global warming will become a huge problem within the next 20 to 40 years, if we don't do something to stop it now !! And we are late already !

  • And who tells you this ???

And what evidence have you the cause is co2 gases and not the natural eco system which changes naturally and which HAS been proved that we go from ice melting to ice rebuilding every few hundred years !!! I speak fact no fiction like you green people !!!

  • bothering about it? Typical statement from a dumb downed brainwashed sad eating american. I guess this country is doing a good job to make the public dumber and dumber every year. Now they have them not even caring about their home. We should be taking care of it. Not ruining it to taste some dead animals amongst other things. Have fun suffering from disease (and your kids will also) because the people who do the research have tried to help you time and time again but you just dont listen.

  • When you have lost the ability to get an erection from eating so much meat then maybe you will wish you would have listened and cared a little more. Then just pop that viagra every day and wait for your kidneys or liver to fail.

  • KnittyGritty

Some facts: Land use in the US

    Cropping 20%

    Range land & pasture 26%

    Forestry 29%

Agriculture in the US uses 75% of the land.

of this less than one third is livestock.

Range land can not and never will be used for cropping, thats why it is used to run animals.

    Co2, Methane production:

  • I can't wait to order this film and show it here in Seattle to so-called environmentalists who still don't seem to get it!

  • Thank you - getting it and others on Amazon right now..

Go vegan everyone!!!! It's a fantastic way of life. Guilt-free cuz no one had to die.

  • I eat meat and feel no guilt, why should i we have been a hunter, gather species since we evolved.

  • The human GI system is not set up to eat animals. We are and never have been healthy carnivores. A true carnivore has a very short GI system - not like ours at all. Animal flesh rots in our system, doesn't digest and in fact, autopsies on people who haven't eaten solid diets in months have meat rotting in their colon.

  • The science is done on this. The fact that the slaughterhouse industry( and those who support it via their tiny little taste buds) choose to ignore the facts and in fact lie to the public does not now or ever change the facts. Humans are meant to eat a plant based diet and the even the planet knows it. Frankly, I'm not into guilt - I'm into facts.

  • Oh, yes, and that hunter gatherer argument - love that. Do you have indoor plumbing? Do you still live in a cave? What about processed foods - do you eat them? Do you 'catch' and kill animals with your bare hands instead of assault weapons? I doubt it. So unless you want to really go back to when humans claim we were a 'hunter/gatherer ' species, you probably shouldn't bring that up.

  • Lastly, we haven't evolved completely yet - you still murder and eat animals. When the world is vegan, we will have evolved.

  • i hope i am not alive to see that day, and i may have gone past going out and killing a deer for dinner and shelter however some tribes in africa still do proving where we came from, also i have been hunting with my dad and it improved our bond and trust a lot, Hunting requires that kind of trust picking fruit isn't dangerous at all, apart from the occasional thorn or nettle bush.

  • Still hanging your hat on 'where we came from' being proved by animal-eaters? We were originally gatherers - not murderers. I'm very sorry that you don't trust your dad without there being life-threatening situations involved. You could always threaten your lives by mountain climbing, scuba-diving, skydiving, swimming with sharks, etc. There are so many more ways to build bonds than killing together.

  • This is directed towards you personally however in about two of your comments there you sounded like you were reading off a script as if its been programmed into you.

And if the world went vegan cattle farmers would lose their jobs, butchers would lose their jobs, it isn't worth it in my opinion

  • That's a very narrow viewpoint friend. Are you saying that cattle farmers and butchers are incapable of acquiring new skills? That it isn't worth adapting in order to have a better future? Humans are capable of learning new skills.

  • I'm sure they can but who is going to pay for their living expenses while they learn a new trade or skill?

  • WE will - the taxpaye - we've subsidized evil fossil fuel companies for decades while they raped us and the land . The least we can do is subsidize hard-workers who only need new talents. Same goes for tobacco farmers.

  • There are always new jobs, and it's not like the world will go vegan overnight. (Couldn't cattle farmers become veggie farmers instead?)

Check out the "Mad Cowboy"--Howard Lyman--a fourth-generation cattle farmer turned vegan activist, to see what he has to say on the topic! : )
