  • I saw this show on Broadway when I was 10 years old LOL My mom was an usherette for Broadway theater's back then :) Got to see all the shows!

  • The most underrated show EVER!! Have been wanting to make a revival for 35 years...........anyone interested??

  • GREAT, THANKS FOR POSTING!

  • I saw this show in New York, June 1968 at the Shubert Theatre. Great show! I'll

    never forget it!

  • Apologies for the unforgivable misspelling of Eydie's name.

  • What wonderful pipes Edie has.............Sarah Vaughan once told me she thought they were probably the best in the US (that was back in 1979).

  • This is awesome! The closest we'll get to having seen this show live since it was on Broadway so long ago. Can you imagine the two of them singing like this every night! They really are the best.

  • Thanks for this wonderful post! These two songs had to be written for these two incredibly talented singers. This is the best vintage entertainment has to offer today and always. JUST LOVE IT!!!!!!!

  • Eydie's truly a remarkable singer! This is probably my most favourite song on the "Golden Rainbow" soundtrack. No one in my opinion sings with the same depth of emotion. Eydie really knows how to interpret a song. Thanks for posting.

  • THANK YOU! Eydie can do no wrong - but it sure seems the show could! :-) Changing the plot to accommodate Steve and Eydie was just the start. You have seen the opening number haven't you?

    again- thanks for a great clip! More more more! Please!

  • Yes--just noticed that dentelTV2 has the entire show up, but this is slightly better quality. I'll pull out their opening and closing numbers and pot them here.

  • Wow! Didn't mean to cause you more work - but thanks! The quality of your videos is always great.

  • Well, not always, but I try. ;-}

  • That's them in the audience as well, right?

    Fantastic, and thaks for posting.

  • Yes, the camera keeps showing them in the audience, reacting. It was the running gag of this particular Hollywood Palace.
