I couldn't agree with you more....I have done TKD for those same exact reason...so I could those flying kicks...and I used to love doing them to impress my friends when I was young but since I have no interest to try out for "Final Fu"...I will leave TKD alone and stick to Muay Thai. By the way did any of u know that Erny Reyes competed at the ISKA....did he use any TKD?....Hell to the NO!

Don't get me wrong, I respect TKD very much and if us MT people were points-fighting Im sure those multiple snap kicks would stack up on us, but as far as full contact goes...the only TKD guy worth mentioning is Loiseau (and he's style is crossed over with Muay Thai...lol). Anyway I took TKD while I was 13...and I got some wicked jump kicks.

ummm ShikamaruTKD, let me school you a little. Lesson #1 It's Serkan Yilmaz not "Wilmaz".
#2 He's style is way too hybrid to be considered pure TKD or even 75% TKD but Im gonna leave that one alone.
#3 is K-1 record is 3 wins and 4 loss, so I don't know why you even mention him in the first place.
Lesson is over! I wonder if you like Kimo ( black belt in TKD, and Brown belt in steroid-Fu) Bwahahahahahaha!
