Going back in time to the 1930s was the original idea for back to the future part 2 til they realized they can go back into the first movie. That was where they got the idea for the game. If you watch all the special features on the bttf dvds they explain it.
You know telltale's new BTTF game? Marty goes back to 1931, and there are gangsters there too! so maybe that's where they (telltale) got the idea for that time!
Or as Doc said in BTTF Part II " Or it could just be an amazing coincidence"
@Cuteblondie1972 i love 90s cartoons. well, some of em. I liked Hey Arnold, Rugrats (all though some of the episodes were a knock off from this), and even though this was an 80's cartoon, they'd play it a lot in the 90s xD
@VicRules666 When somebody finally bites the bullet and pays to renew all those licenses to use all the copyrighted material that appears in the show.
I was only a little girl in the Philippines when I watched MB also Voltes 5; Voltron; Bioman; Macross; Hello Kitty FTT; Transformers( I watched it along with my Brother and it was so popular in the Philippines)..
Here in the States I grew up on Muppet Babies, Mother Goose and Grimm, Ninja Turtles, Sonic, WMAC Masters, Megaman, Swat Kats, The Little Koala, Noozles, etc.
If it was on Nick Jr., the old ABC, CBS or UPN kids, I watched it.
At that time in the Philippines; She-ra ( alongside He-Man); Gummi-Bears; Care Bears; Bionic Six was also popular. Astroboy; Paul In Fantasyland; Mekanda Robot; Alvin & the Chipmunks ; Punky Brewster ( animated series)...
You watched those two? And here I thought I was the only one who saw that! Hey, what about Karate Commandos, Mr. T, Maple Town, Rimba's Island and My Little Pony?
I never knew these cartoons except My Little Pony & Mr.T; but TFH and Superbook was my favorite cartoons and it was played on Saturday & Sunday mornings in the Philippines in the 80's..
@redplaguethe3rd no they ruined things after 92 just opion maybe cuz my todller nd first few yrs of grammer school i grew up with jim hensons programs the programs after 92 were so so but trash totally by 95. honsetly though another reason may be the fact that in 92 being 7 do to cirumstance if tv was on i'd be listening but was busy taken care of lil sis. i grew up fast.
Ohhh, I gotcha. The sad part is that it's now 2009 (goin on 10) and there's nothing good like Muppet Babies or anything else on today. Man, I really want the years of the 80s and 90s to return.

This show is so creative and funny at the same time.

Agreed! The cartoons of today don't have the ingenuity like Muppet Babies and all the stuff from back in the 80s and early to mid 90s.

These cartoons are classics. Unlike today shown in CN and Hero channel..

Maple Town was on Nick Jr. It was about a rabbit named Patty. It should be on here somewhere. Rimba's Island was on the Fox Kids Clubhouse.

In the Philippines we don't have those but local stations televised those cartoons every morning and afternoon..

@redplaguethe3rd i think about 92 is when things started to go down hill as far as cartoons go

Really? Why do you say that? I think they still had a few good things up until 97 or 98.
