Sorry for the last short reply webbo, I used just plain old table salt squirted down the hole (which looks like a key hole) give it a couple of seconds and up they pop it is worth looking back over your track just in case ones you thought did not work, worked. I always go at low tide, they are good eating and very good fish bait.
