The Patch definitely used way too much 6C, it was constant lol. That also seemed like a really heavy set of Silent Selene for one deck to handle, but eh. Could've done with a bit more pressure on oki (Dew Spear and Winter Element are good for this, as well as Summer Flame if you have it in your deck). Comboing seemed ok from what we saw. Try adding either Dew Spear or Winter Element to 5C/6C before hjc, you'll force more graze reactions which can be punished with j.6A or j,2A. Or another bullet.

@Simic As in SWR or Hisoutensoku? This is Hisoutensoku - You can tell because the interfaces are slightly different (for example the energy bars are hexagonal in Hisoutensoku and circular in SWR), and this specific arena is from Hisoutensoku.

@Shepardus No I ment there's a patch for Soku that changes a few things and implements gold and black battles as well as EX reimu and Remilia and was wondering if it was being used in this tournement.

@Simic M3 Youmu is the best Youmu in the tourney, hands down.

By the way, I'm the (terrible) Youmu player from M6, and I would appreciate any constructive criticism that more experienced players can provide. :)

@kingjackjoker Your youmu isnt that bad, you just play really passive. Youmu is one of the faster characters so you need to take advantage of that but if you are going to hang back and try to bait them at least throw down some b's to entice thier rushing. Try to learn how to jump in with bullets behind you and bait them into an air melee. theres this nifty site for anyone that wants to learn basic combos and such here: hisouten.koumakan.jp/wiki/Main­_Page

M2's Iku was horrible, I saw 1 c, no double c ->b zone at all, The Suika did do a good job at pressure though so maybe it was just a bad match up, Iku fails against any speedy character. M1's first Ko made me lol, was an easy win for Youmu since Tenshi's delay after attacks is so huge, but that Tenshi was horrible at landing keystones.

M5 Meiling failed to follow up on so many open free hits, your Reisan is ok but you need to stop using 236 as a zoning skill, if you miss or that graze it you leave yourself wide open. M4 was one of the more balanced matches, but okuus C and 6c,2c, j2c is to much for youmu to handle if she doesnt jump in right. Typhoon ruins every match though so eh. M3 was probably the best youmu she took advantage of every opening. Although the komachi didn't seem to realize how delayed her own attacks were.

These battles are pretty slow paced compared to the ones i usually play :/ and I can't really tell the skill level of these players since I have yet to see any decent combos. This patchy won due to 6c and c spam. M7 was so one sided becuase Sakuya never zoned with 214 and regular C. Same with M6 Reisan didn't bother to take advantage of her lingering shots but then again Youmu is one of those characters where she can stick to you all day without having to worry about bullets.

Unfortunately the player's levels were quite low =/. Still, it's good to see that people are still holding their own small tourneys of this game, it deserves more attention than it currently has. Also, thanks for the uploads! o/

Good Patchy players are the bane of pretty much everyone, I think. And SailorMercury was tearing Faix up...Too many good ranged attacks. That being said, she does take practice and skill, so I guess it's understandable. I'll stick to Marisa myself, powerful and easy to use.
