the part when max is shoot and is arm was crash , was stupid because max always had two guns with him : a revolver and a shotgun . Why he didnt took his revolver instead the shotgun?

@sietepeo1 I have no idea either. Maybe there was some deleted scene when he spent all the shots from his revolver or something. I think it would be a brilliant scene if you couldn't see his revolver or there was some explanation for why he couldn't use it.

@bladerunner951 I think he didn't had any bullets in that revolver in the first place, I think he had it with him only to scare those guys... because in that period, bullets were not something you could find in any place... at least that's my opinion...

@CroPETROforever That does make. In Mad Max 2 (I'm european) he has no bullets for his shotgun most of the time either. I think they should have made that clear in the movie though.

@bladerunner951 also take a look again into that scene, when max gets shot in his leg he fell down and he tries to reach his shotgut which was near him (in that situation we would all do that because revolver was on his another shoulder), after bubba zanetti almost disable his arm with motorscyle he expecially after that is unable to reach his revolver on his another shoulder, so when bubba makes a new turn to max, he tries to reach his shotgun, because there is much more chances to kill him...

@bladerunner951 with shotgun than with revolver in that fast situation, because shotgun is much more accurate on that distance, and have in mind that his arm and leg is 50% disable in that situation and revolver is on another sholder, if he tried to reach his revolver in all that, he would be surely killed, or there was a greater chance that he would be killed by bubba than in this way... :)

my one and ONLY complaint about the films is the director's decision to go post-appocalyptic on us... there should be more history on the actual event or a clear explanation, or references to a possible war in the first film, but no, it just happens, and no body seems all thaqt shaken up by it, especially Max, who doesn't seem to have aged a dy since the first film.. and nuclear annihalation would take more than a few days. otherthan that, frikkin love it.

In MAD MAX 3, the last enclaves of civilization like that one from mad max 1 also dissapeared, and world entered in another era.
