Is it at the watcher tower where the NYers gained enfilade over the confederates? Where it takes a 90 degree turn back to the north west? I am trying to pin point it on google earth but there is no specific marker for the spot.

Antietam, or Sharpsburg (whatever you call it), is the best Civil War battlefield you can visit. Walking through the Bloody Lane or along the Dunker Church is a very humbling experience.

i walked down bloody lane at like midnight and seen some ghosts standing in the field next to it up on a hill it was freaky as hell

the depression at the sunken road (AKA Bloody lane) varies depending on where you are in it. at some places it is as deep as five feet.
