i noticed something... whenever the art is by Kosuke Fujishima(luv dat man) the game is more remembered than other tales game, Fujishima has done art for... Phantasia,Symphonia,Abyss,Vesp­eria,Tempest,Hearts,Graces,Xil­lia.

Tales of Symphonia and Tales of the Abyss have the most epic and recognizeable Intros and Musicscores out of the Tales bunch. But Tales of Innocence has a pretty good Intro too! :)

Wow. It's really sad that everyone who bashes Legendia lacks any kind of backup as to why it's "not good", when I can throw out every last reason the game is amazing. People just don't like giving it a chance, I swear.

@ultimatetalesfan19 bah personally I didn't like Legendia as much as the other, and I've played all that have been released here in NA. In that game. I don't know, but I started losing all the fun when you reach the underworld kinda place.

Abyss, Vesperia, Symphonia, and Graces have been my top faves. I've only watched Abyss cuz I have no PS2 :( So Im hoping to get save up and get the game. Vesperia was WORTH getting! :D I love the skits, characters and challenges! I liked the first Symphonia better than the sequel, no offense lol. Sequel was okay, but yea :3 As for Graces, I really hope it comes to US. I've seen the gameplay and trailers and I already fell in love with it XD

The "sequel" (more of a spinoff, really) is barely a real game. Namco doesn't count Dawn of the New World as a main entry in the series, because of how low quality it is. The budget for the game ran out 70% through development, so they cut out things like the world map and just slapped the rest together. So, yeah.  You won't offend anyone by not liking it. It's a pile of crap.

They were also designed from the ground up not to include maps. Dawn of the New World was designed to have one. It makes a difference. It's also far and away not the only reason why DotNW was a pile of crap. It's not exactly an uncommon opinion that it's a mediocre game. Namco doesn't even consider it part of the main series, though when it was originally announced, it was going to be. Now they just call it an "escort title". The story is bad, the characters are bad.

@Daerandil I KNOW lots of people don't like it. But Namco also can't spend all their time and budget on sequels when they have new games coming out. The problem was likely that they went too deep with their planning without remembering their budget amount. Assuming they took that into account from the start, it probably would've been better. No, it's not the best game ever, but it's still fairly good. The issue is that people expected way too much of it.

Also, if Symphonia 2 isn't all that great to people, why is ToS1? If you ask me, even love I loved it, ToS1 was just a copy of Phantasia's. All it did was change the towns and characters. Everything else was exactly the same - the issues with the races and the enemy trying to destroy humanity was one major thing. Mithos is exactly like Dhaos to boot, in terms of their goals. If Symphonia 2 was based off its original, which, IMO, ruined ITS original's glory, it's not going to be the best.
