I have just recieved the same fuselage and a 5 balde rotor head. Last night I had my first flight with 5 blades, LOL, first flight gave kind of the same sensation as the very first flight.
It was a cost factor and I don't want to have to use a mixer. If I had more cash I would step up to a 5 bladed head but to be honest I would much rather do it with a 50 or 90 sized model as the trex is a bit fiddly
its not a huges but a md 500 huges hase different tail

Do you need any extra gyros/stab(s) for the extra blade? I've heard you need them if you haven't got a flybar.

It would certainly make things easier, but no I am not using electronic stablising.

May I ask why 3 blades. That heli (in real life) has never had 3 blades - 4 or 5)
