i was among the last few crews to fly her before her end here back in 1989

Probably one of the prettiest designs of the 20th century...the only close rivals might be the Super Constellation or the Super DC-8 63 . To hear one take off at full power is amazing! Thanks!

@ICastIFunny it is soo good because it was one of the first commerical airplanes, very few are in service. The 787 is a modern turbo jetliner, the 707 and 787 are different and uncomparable

The most famous and memorable of all the commercial jets! I have had the fortune of boarding dozens of 707s from 1960 through 1981, all over the world. I loved the Boeing 707. This was a real pilot's aircraft, not all the automated jets of today!
