I admit the Werehog wasn't great but in the PS3/360 version his levels were at least fun. I found I could survuive through those levels because I knew I had another awesome speed stage to look forward to.

But in my honest opinion I actually prefer Silver over the Werehog. :P

i liek this game very much and i never like sonic alot but this game was really good and i actually like the were hog this game is very unappreciated and being bash for the wrong reason sega did a great job on it and i think ppl are overreacting on the were hog lvls ALOT and the were hog its self i mean this game is beautiful fun and FAST yet ppl always try to make is sound sooo bad when its not i envy you sonic just say fuck those fanboys there gona buy ur game any way id give this game 10/10.

Here are some reasons why this game Fails!

1- u cant control sonic like old days.

2- drif? sonic doesnt and never neaded "drif" just to change directions.

3- werehog levels: SPAM much?

4- no more free homingattack( like old days)

5- sonic IS NOT A CAR GAME OR GOD OF WAR!

@NM127 Homing attack can't give you any speed boost in this game thus a free homing attack is not necessary for the most of time.

@NM127 Really? I'm sorry, but this isn't classic gaming anymore. This is the year 2010. Did you understand me? 2010. And you can homing attack freely depending on the controller you use. And face it, the werehog was beast. So it's not really the game that fails, it's you that fails for thinking this is still the classic times.

1. Of course, it's a different style. Would you honestly want to control Sonic Adventure style through these stages?

2. Sonic R? Sonic Riders? Secret Rings? The drift is there because they've given you MORE control over Sonic. Even through those hairpin turns that are usually eye candy.

4. Again, it's just a different style.

5. Sonic Drift series, Sonic Riders series, Sonic R . Sonic Battle(To an extent), and aspects of Sonic Heroes.

I'm an old sonic fan who loved sonic 1 and sonic 3 and sonic cd and sonic adventure, those where great games!

This game i was looking forward to for ages, it turned out to be the biggest disappointment i have ever seen!

Wtf comparing sonic unleashed with Sonic CD and Sonic 1, Kid do you even know what SONIC THE HEDGEHOG gameplay is all about? let me tell u something...It has NOTHING to do with this bullshit of game.

played this on the ps2 and ps3...even the tittle "Sonic next gen" is better than this...Because u control Sonic as SONIC not as a freaking car that drifts around...Sonic jumps around on platforms and runs at high speed but it isnt all about fricking speed its about exploring and having a blast!

Two things

1. That mission is in the Wii version. The PS3/360 version doesn't have that level. The PS3 version was superior.

2. Is the Werehog really THAT bad? It wasn't the best gameplay but come on. It was nowhere near as bad as Big's gameplay in SADX or Knuckles gameplay in SA2B.

Also most of the levels in the PS3 version were Sonic speed levels so stop moaning.

It loads every time cause it has to reload the entire stage with the same graphics and restarting the enemies, traps, rings exct. But the game still rocks! Anyone who knows a bit about programing would notice that. -_-''
