As a performer of this song myself and very critical, I have to say that you sing it well, giving a nice delivery and feel, if I had have closed my eyes, I would have thought it was definitely Van Morrison performing, it's one thing to copy but it's another to get the real feel and you did that

I do singing impression and his voice only needs to learn the Morrison spikes and refrains to jump onto the next beat.

The best Van Morrison I have heard to date, Van used poor diction as the common man who sang from the heart.

Scruff up the tune a bit and it will be perfect. Bright Side of the Street has a nice free-style bit for Van to bark out bass words.

wow. i'm a hard critic, and this version sounds pretty damn good. Here's the thing - although its a far cry from the quality of Van himself, its still a damn sight better than celebrated singers: Rod & Manilow. The way to conquer this song, which i think PC has done better than most, is to never attempt to sing this love song as if it were a love song. This is not to be sung by the crooner or flash guy - its the everyday man who rarely speaks of his emotions. This version is clsoe to that.

Very impressive.  Not many people can get their voices to fit into a van song without sounding out of place.
