  • Were you the one who sent that comment for Henry hoover vs Dust buster?

  • @fangmarkrory no?

  • "transfer kit for the owner to apply."

    wuh?

  • @randomuseronthenet the face used to come as a sticker set that the owner to apply when they brought their new Henry

  • i supose your right, but you know it's beyond me why people use henrys bagless because it makes a mess and slows down performance.

  • cool I hope mine does I too do regular bag chages and filter cleans.

I think numatics single fan motors (1100) last about 10-15 years so hopefully the twinflo motors will last about 20-25 years. but like you said only time will tell.

  • @NumaticVacuum you cant really put an amount of time on it, all depends on the amount of usage and how well its looked after, and what its used for. I find that any vacuum that is used to pick up fine dust on a regular basis (ie builders dust etc) doesn't tend to last very long

  • will the new henrys with the twin flo motors last as long as this one?

  • @NumaticVacuum god knows, I doubt it but only time will tell I spose. my nans had her Henry twinflo since 2004 and its still going strong but it is very well maintained by me with regular bag changes and filter cleans.

  • does the wire go into henrys hat?

  • @roloboy97 it does rewind, that came later on

  • @U5096 ok thanks

  • You sure like you vacuums.

  • Do you always use this bagged?

  • @stupidsheep883 yep, always use my numatics bagged.

  • Dennis Markuze A.K.A. Dave Mabus brought me here. Thumbs up if you were brought here by him too!

  • Ive got a henry like this cordrewind and it has the arched base like the new 1 his name was in red like yours dunno what age it is doesnt have sticker on no more take a look at my channel

  • @Marc1998Scotland yep still going fine lol he'll be heading off to another home soon though, another Numatic collector who's adopting him

  • any1 seen the new numatics eco hoovers. look well cool with the switches on front above the name. and they do harry now 2!!! hees got funny eyes though.

  • @heya40 yep i heard about the new models a few days ago, just seen them on the site. Apparently henry's are going to get a new eco motor that is 400w but has the same amount of suction as the old 1200w motor. Looks like the new james has already got it

  • @U5096 Hi, Its so hard to keep up with all the new models and new features they bring out, im glad they have kept their desgin for this long though. Have you heard of medivacs? I bealive they are a numatic made cylinders based on the older style ones, are they rare and a special edition?

I love your henry on here, the design of it is so cool and modern looking!

  • @vacboi98 they're not particularly rare, expensive though think they're about £500 but basically they're based on the NV250 with extra filters

  • my mum has had this henry for 20 years hers is still going strong and she loves it

  • You know, I just love seeing these wonderful vacs smoothly operating years on. My Dad has a 880w Henry that has seen some right abuse. Yet Which? claim they perform badly which pisses me off to be perfectly honest, though I like my Miele's too hehe :)

  • @David5495 Mieles are fantastic machines but the quality of them has dropped in the last few years, for a lot less money you can get a Henry that'll probably last as long and when it does go wrong, the parts are a hell of a lot cheaper than Miele. Don't forget that Henrys have the same heavy duty motor as the big commercial models

  • @U5096 Yeah I love Numatics, just people running them down like Which? annoys me, however I doubt Numatic need to worry as they sell on their excellent reputation. Do you use MSN? It would be good to talk mate.

  • @David5495 Yeh add me as a friend and i'll send u my msn

  • @U5096 Have done.

  • Yep your right, I love Numatics it just annoys me when Which? run them down but Numatic have nothing to worry about as they sell on reputation and their proven design and reliability. I have just acquired a George which is on my channel. Do you use MSN? would be cool to talk.

  • Greetings from Poland, Warsaw The most popular vac is Henry HVR 200 in Poland. High quality and reasonable prize. I also recommend scrubber drier made by Numatic

  • I have a henry but it was made in 1995

  • Whats the difference between the one that says Numatic on his forehead and the one that says Henry on his forehead?

  • The one with Numatic on the top is a commercial version, it had a longer cable and more powerful motor, whereas the Henry was aimed at domestic users. However, many Henrys have found themselves being used in commercial environments anyway.

  • Ah Henry... brings back memories, my nan and grandad still have one like that, he looks a little beat up now but still going strong, i just brought a miniture battery one from debenhams! :D

  • is this vacuum 240 volts?

  • yup

  • oh ok thanks!

  • they are not the only ones made in england so are dysons

  • dysons arent made in england anymore

  • They are great, only cleaner out there thats made in england! Thats why there good, and thats why they've got charactor!

  • Henrys are the best hoovers on the market and for a reason. They are simple and you don't even need a hoover bag if you don't want. I had a Dyson, it lost suction after two months and went on to break after 6 months. It was hard to maneuver and generally s***.

  • ace vid...gotta like henrys :D

  • it's cute, but i wouldnt want one

  • don't under-estimate them because they smile at you, they're amazingly good little vacuums

  • shop vacs are just as good, arent they?

  • we haven't really got shop vacs in England, I think Shop Vacs are more for outdoor work or for in the workshop whereas Henry's are designed for inside the home or commercial buildings. However Henrys will cope just as well in the workshop or picking up heavy debris. They're very popular in england with building contractors

  • really?,i never really knew that about henry vacuums, that's awesome!!

  • you find that a lot of homes in England will either have a Dyson or a Henry or both. And Henry has been around a lot longer than Dyson

  • i want a henry i have a desktop one though it is cool i got it on ebay and i was new and in the box

  • Ive got the instruction book 1 of of these. found it at work, told my supervisor it wassnt for henry we now got so she said throw it out. glad i didnt as id only just bought 1 off ebay. mine the 1 with the red floor tool though

  • how comes they changed it from the HVC200 to the HVR200

  • the HVC stood for 'Henry Vacuum Cleaner' then in about 1988 when they first got a rewind they changed it to HVR which means 'Henry Vacuum Rewind'

  • Dysons suck henrys are bullet proof. When i had some work done on my house all the contractors swear by henrys i saw one guy clean the landing drag it down the stairs by it's hose. Then he sucked loads of rubble up. Henrys are the honda 90 of the hoover world. They look cool as well.

  • I've just bought my first ever Henry. I have had 3 Dysons in the past ten years and they are so poorly made and expensive. I love the Henry, it's so simple with very few parts and is light to carry and easy to store. It has a fantastic suction, well beyond the Dysons. Wish I'd bought one years ago but like many people was fooled by the marketing blurb of Dyson.

  • I'd love an Early HVC200 like that, been searching on ebay but can't find anything, if you want I'll send you my e-mail for msn or something

  • do you stick the face on the hvc200 when it comes or is it oredy stuck on? cos i have a hvc200 but my grandad gave it to me eny iders?

  • When the HVC200 was new it wud've come with a face kit for you to stick on

  • NUmatic actually sent me one of those face tranfer kits, and I put it on my desk xD I reckon he looks cuter with wonky eyes

  • i have a henry hvc200 and a hvr200 and i think that the hvc200 has better suction than the hvr200.

  • Sounds like it has pretty good airflow as well as suction on that. hmm must be fairly quiet in person too you can hear the air wooshing into the wand ....and those eyes are crackin me up

  • yeh, because they are such a simple design the airflow is great. They tend to keep their suction for longer too than most vacs before the bag needs changing

  • Aww, he's so cute!

  • you can take the mick out of me if you want but vacuum cleaners is my hobbie and im colleting numatic because numatics are my favorite types of vacuum cleaners

  • thats cool, i've been collecting Numatics since I was 3 and i'm 21 now i love them. I've managed to get hold of a yellow NV200 from 1994 that i'm gona try and restore, it works ok but its really dirty and the writings faded on top so im gona try and go to a graphics company to get the writing reprinted

  • is the nv200 the metal one or is that the nv250 because if not theres a yellow one that the seller describes as an nv200 on ebay right know!

  • Yeh the yellow NV200 on ebay now is mine, I've had a change of heart and decide to sell him and try and find one in better condition

  • has anyone ever seen those private lable numatics like international or worldwide or my personal faveroute maxima a purple version of basil. I saw a maxima at a fish and chip shop at scarborough, I heard a vacuum noise and followd my ears till I found a beutifull purple basil (no face)

  • you mean the Nationwide, OCS or Bx.Bx etc ones? they're made by Numatic for private companys like Nationwide cleaning, Office Cleaning Solutions and BX Services. Never seen a Maxima though sounds nice, there were 100's of different ones made by Numatic over the years tho occasionally you still see them floating around on ebay especially the BX.BX and Nationwide ones

  • I just found two nationwide ones on ebay, can't get it though/

  • r u on bebo? if so whats ur username?

  • sorry m8 not on bebo anymore send me a msg if u want my email and i'll add u to msn or sumthin

  • could u possibly send me ur email adress via a private email

  • yeh just saw, the brown and cream Henrys are well rare now and worth quite a lot. I did have one but I swapped it for a car lol I kid you not, my mate said that if I give him my brown Henry, he'd give me his 1987 Rover 213SE with tax and mot. And he stuck to his word lol

  • If u look on my acount page u wont find videos lol but if u look at the bacground image u will find somhing realy cool

FACT.I have whats in the picture although the one in the pic isnt mine

  • I remember when I was about 3 and me n my mum were going into town and for a treat she let me go into the hoover shop (Wakefield floorcare) well I used to have a little red toy cannister vacuum that was called a redbox but I called it henry simply because it was red. so going back to the hoover shop, I proudly anounced to the owner that I had a henry at home but he didnt have a face so the owner gave me a face kit that I found extremely dificult to stick on the vac and eventualy it fell off!

  • bless lol

  • how do u order new face kits?

  • Phone numatic and ask for their technical dept. usually they're pretty cool and they'll let you have a few for free otherwise i think they're a couple of £ each

  • U CAN ALLWAYS TELL IF THE FACE STICKERS ON A NUMATIC ARE EARLY BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT OUTLINED IN BLACK. I think numatic started outlining eyes in black when they brought out the white models

  • yeh you're right, I recently ordered some new face kits from Numatic for my Henrys and ended up having to carefully cut away the outlines for the early ones, they look smart now tho

  • henryhooveer22 not all henry with the name the same coulor as the hoover come from beenminster 2 models came from chard

  • well the henry is a very reliable hoover because it comes from beaminster u can tell if a henry or george or whatever is from beaminster by the color of its writing if its the color of the hoover it is from beaminster most henry live on for 20 yrs plus with no problems so i am proud to come from beaminster lol me and my m8 charlie are just getting into them lol ohh nd ive gt a 16-17 year old gorge lol

  • OMG its a vacumme with a face!

  • I h8 this modeal

  • whys that? lol

  • love the face lol

  • ey up mister hows it goin? Just to let you know (you're going to KILL me for this!) that I slung a Henry at work yesterday! Remember the one i told you I had fallen out with cos it leaked? I chucked it!! Wooo! HATED it! We now have a Vaclensa upright and it ROCKS! A lot like a Riccar. bye bye Henry! lol.

  • you evil sod! you should have sent it to me, i've started a rescue centre for elderly and abused Henrys lol

  • it wasn't elderly. It was a fairly new one with a two speed motor (the red and green switches) about a year or so old. But it has been used 3 times a day, everyday for the past year. I think we wore it out because it just wasn't picking a thing up and the bags kept leaking. So we chucked it.

  • I could have saved him, I get ones in like that all the time, they just need a bit of tlc

  • why would you want to save them? Lol. Soz, i know you love em! I am not a fan though. At least, not when they're in that state.

  • Henry's only leak if the bag gets over-filled the same as most vacs. I've been using a really old 1989 Henry as my everyday vac for the past month or so and its been perfect, its about half full at the mo so i'll fill it right up and see if it splits and let you know.

  • theres a brown one on ebay now the item numbers 140227708153 and its got a really odd floor tool lol its cream and brown but the ones i have seen before are the same at the one in this vid just cream wiv a brown peddle. But its got a brown hose and its only £20 at least your brown one would be complete then lol

  • well spotted mate, I've got a bid on it, defo ain't letting that one go! the floortool is the original Henry floortool and is well rare. The really early red and black Henry's had the same floortool but in red. I've got an ad from about 1982 with a red Henry and that floortool in matching red.

  • oh cool glad ive pleased sum1 lol

i alwayse thought the brown onse had a flor tool like the 1 in this vid but brown and creem and i knew you could get red onse but i thought they were also the same as the one in yr vid.. but red lol

  • well the brown and cream one i've got at the moment has got the same floortool as the one in the video, just in brown and cream. All henrys had that style of floortool up until about 1998, The one on ebay has got the orginal Henry floortool that all Henrys had up till about 1985, But the actual henry itself has got a cord rewind which is strange cos that wud make it a post 1985(ish) model. When I hopefully win it on ebay, I can take a proper look and see if I can put a date on it

  • oh rite

mines got a cord rewind but i see wot u meen though how can it have the old floor tool and a cord rewind unless they had to and got the heads mixed up or the original top blew up and they managed to get hold of a newer one with cord rewind and used that hope u find out lol

n e way lol did ya win it ?

  • no :( it went for £58 inc p+p, i wanted it but for not a lot more I cud get a new one lol ah well, we'll never know now. The suppresor blew on one of my old henrys today too :(

  • aww thats a shame

ive got an old henry id say probs about 1990 its red, same style bucket as the 1 in this vid with the stick on face nd the exposed back wheels its got a cord rewind with a thin slit where the cord goes in (same as my brown 1) but when i switch him on blue sparks (well more like a glow) comes out the back vents and i aint got a clue what could be wrong wov it ive looked inside and cant spot anything

    u gt n e ideas hehe

  • How does the motor sound? does it tend to slow down at all? if it smells of burning and the motor runs erracticaly then the motors probably burnt out, if not then the motor carbon bushes are probably worn and need replacing. hope that helps

  • na it sounds normal and looks normal i need think it could be the brushes il have a look at them thx m8

  • the carbons could be worn down to the springs and wud therefore cause excessive sparking at the armature, I had an electrolux turbomatic that did that once

  • u got some nice vacuums i saw them on hooverland pics

  • cheers

  • i meen 20 lol

  • ive got a henry like him well i had about 2 at one point all difernt ages but ive got wait for it ...... a brown one i think he must be older than your red one but hees got the cable rewind

  • i've got a brown and beige one too with its original matching tools so that'll probably be the nxt vid I post. From what I can gather looking at original Numatic brochures, the brown and beige ones actually came after the regular red and black ones, like you I also thought the brown one was earlier but it was sold alongside the red ones until the blue/yellow/green/red colours became available in about 1992

  • did you sell your blue turbo power junior or do u still have it

  • which one? I've got most of the Turbo juniors would love an electricity board exclusive one with the headlight though, still havent got one of those. The problem I've got is most of my vacs are in a garage now behind my mates old car because I moved from a house to a flat so its a pain in the butt trying to dig them out to do vids, I wish I had the space to keep them indoors, doubt my other half wud be too happy tho lol

  • i like the black and pink turbo power junior its good for making a video

  • oh wow id love to see the old brochures ive got some from about 1996 but id like to see the 1 with the brown henry in any chance you could post a vid ov them. and thanks for putting me right anout the age of the brown 1 ive alwayse wondered why its got a cable rewind but but some red onse havent as i thought the brown one came before the red im glad i no now.

mines got the original brown hose and bent tube but the others arnt original and he hassnt got his face

  • I wish I had the brown hose for mine, I've got the original beige and brown floortool and beige tools with brown tubes/bent end. I've also got an original TurboElectric head that plugs into the back, i'll do a vid of that at sum point.

send me ur email address and i'll send you some scans. The brown one is in the 1989 brochure. I've got an earlier leaflet from 1985 but at that time you could only get Henry in red and black.

  • Aww, will you mail them to me too please stranger! lol I got a Hoover Turbomaster from Freecycle the other week. The cream model with variable motor speed. Works very well, picks up anything in upright mode.

  • yes I do have a Mitsubishi vac from the 70's/80's and i'll do a video when I next come across it because I haven't got a clue where it is

  • oh so are you ryan

  • yep im ryan lol

  • and mitsubishi not only did they made cars but they make vacuums thats weird because mitsubishi puts their logo on everything they make

  • do you have a mitsubishi vacuum or did you sell it if you didnt sell it then can you put it up on youtube

  • Hello stranger! Great vid! I do still check for em. After years of trying loads of vacs, I got myself another Henry. I brought one about 5 years ago and gave it my mum (still going strong). Loving the new ones though. Use it on low power all the time as on high it's hard work on carpets. I thought they had cord rewinds as standard... didn't realise the early models were without. Prefer the rocker switch models, my dad has the push button one. J

  • hi its been a while aint it! yeh Henry's are the best, My everyday vacs a Henry now, you can't beat them, so relible

  • Nice vid. I have totally fallen out with Henry at the moment after the contents of the bag leaked into the tank (and yes, the bag was on right before u say it!). Can't wait for the Miele upright though :). Just got the air driven turbo brush for the S5120 and it's just soooo good lol. Take care, C x

  • none of my Henrys have ever leaked lol

  • poof

  • Oi u gayboy what have you been doin with that hose!!!

  • lol well whatever it was, going by the expression on Henry's face he enjoyed it! lol

  • how can you take that kind of insulting shit like that?

  • dont worry he's just a jealous gay queen that happens to be a mate of mine lol

  • oh ok lol, i would take that as insulting though.
