Great speech. I would've preferred hearing about Shaw instead of Telus as Shaw has made an initiative to increase bandiwdth caps. It's not offered in my region so I can only assume that they've already implemented high bandwidth plans at the moment (as read on openmedia.ca). Personally, I plan on sticking with Teksavvy since they've been in this fight against telecom gouging since the start!
You are giving Telus a lot of praise. Very nice the way they cut the Internet speed by up to 60% without letting customers know. They still charge the same cost for what they call High Speed, rated at 1 Mbps upload when it runs at .0016 Mbps, as proven here on YouTube. They cut the speed in Dec. 2010.
