this is not a foul, you are allowed to touch another ball, they all this "Raking" - Your opponent can put the balls back if observed, but this is not a foul.

thats very true BUT if you look at the european version of pool, snooker, it is a much harder and more complex game. the balls a smaller, pockets are smaller and there is much more you have to do. pool is, i'm sorry to say, a easier version of snooker (in a way, a kind of rip off because snooker has been around 3 to 5 times longer than pool). its a fun game don't get me wrong. i love pool. i am just stating a point.

Yes, it is sometimes called the "Wussy" stick, but hey if you need it use it, even the pros use the "Wussy" stick... so your friends need to get with the game...lol

I don't know, in that last shot I'd rather lean over than use the bridge.

And most people do. I've been known to lean over on occasion in a rush to make the shot when technically I should have used a bridge...being comfortable is the most important thing for executing a proper stance and stroke...thanks for watching and good luck with your game.

Especially in pool, rythem is important to my game so i almost never go for a bridge.

The quality i gain through a solid rythem more than makes up for the odd shot i miss that i may have had with better stance

I mostly play on 9' tables and I don't have much of a reach, so the bridge is a must for those shots I just can't reach, I almost never use a bridge on the 7' or 8' bar tables. But I do agree with your "rythum" comment, get in the zone and kick ass.
