the film is so fake , especially the raid , 1st of all , the S.A.S where already in a building next to the embassy , they did not come in by helicopters haha lool sooo fake
This is a film and the story is not related to the iranian embassy siege. It did however follow on from the embassy siege when there was great interest in the work of the SAS which until then had never been in the public realm. It did also feature some little details from the siege the curtains/building setting a light from the flashbangs and the trooper on fire
The helicopters were British Army Scout AH.1s; the army does get an acknowledgement for its assistance in making the film. Apparently 22 SAS did offer 'technical assistance'.
The raid is probably as about as realistic as one will ever see in a film.

I like the terrorist telling the hostages to shut-up,when theyre silent.amusing.At the end of the day is entertainment, not a documentary.

You obviously haven't seen this film, because it's not about the Iranian Embassy situation.

I always thought they where wasps but looking on the web they seem to have very similiar shilouettes
silversabre84 2 years ago
The Wasp and Scout are essentially sister aircraft. Both were designed and built by Westlands.
The easiest way to tell them apart is that the Scout has skids and the Wasp has wheels.

@MontytheHorse Most of the guys that dont show there faces that was on the raid were from 22 and 23 SAS
