@Tarafriend33 Newt will implement a 15% flat tax for wage earners as well as 0% capital gains tax. Instead of implementing austerity or reducing costs, Newt is going to focus on growing the economy, and his plan will unleash the American worker which will bring prosperity to those who work. As a result we will see the national debt melt away like ice cream on a hot July Texas sidewalk.

Romney's plan is much more tepid - exactly the kind of president he would be.

Today on Fox News Special Report with Brit Baier Charles Krauthammer pointed out that this speech took place in the 90's and that Nancy Reagan's speech reflects on Newt of the 1990's. And that Newt of the 1980's did not make a big impact during the actual times of Ronald Reagan and that Ronald Reagan's own biography mentions Newt Gingrich only one time.

Tell the truth, Newt! We're not stupid. We heard it ourselves:

Not just Newt... but Newt AND the Republican members of Congress.

Don't forget the "AND," Newt. "...AND the Republican members of Congress."

Newt is taking Nancy Reagan's speech out of context to serve himself. In no way did she imply that "the torch" was passed to ONLY Newt.
