I thinking Dragon Age is mroe fun to play as more of an Action/Adventure game then a RPG. It's much more fast paced. Honestly I think this is the way DA should be played. If you want RPG go play Oblivion. fyi Skyrim is right around the corner. just sayin.

I enjoyed both games. Yes, Dragon Age: Origins was amazing, but it also had some flaws that Dragon Age 2 improved on. Dragon Age 2 dissapointed many, as well as me, but it all depends on opinion and the reason a lot of people find it bad is because it's being compared to Origins. It was fair and if BioWare take the best of both worlds, than Dragon Age 3 would be awesome!

Origins has the better story and was just a deeper game, DA2 was all about combat and killing stuff for the most part, I wouldn't call it a bad game, but it does fall short of DA1.

@Flynn01979 your being generous....its a discrase to the dragon age saga in story, weapons & armor, character improvement, locations, quests, enchantment options, crafting, and an overall sence of urgency. to top it all off the "improved" combat system was exactly what was in origins followed by mashing A.......after finishing the game i took out the disk and snaped it in half, best decision i ever made

DA2 fails as a game. There's almost no room for real tactical gameplay and it's even more of a button mashed in combat sequences than witches 2, and that's saying a lot! The locations were overused and the graphics make the game look like a marvel comic strip. Now this could all be forgiven if the storyline was any good. Unfortunately that sucked as well.

I really don't get why so many people hate this game... I just started playing it on Monday and have already put 20 hours into it. An entire days worth of time in only about 60 hours of time. You can play it the same way as Origins, through change of options. Oh well, more great game for me, and less for you. Truthfully, I guess it would be more annoying for PC players. Also, I think the dialogue wheel is actually more in depth than just persuading or intimidating everyone. Consequences

@Itachisasukekiller Everyone hated it because the exploration sucked balls. Most of your time was spent in Kirkwall and when you werent in kirkwall, you were in very general and cliche environments (ie.cave, rundown house etc.). Also, they also made you keep revisiting the same places for different quests that took ten, maybe fifteen minutes to beat. On another note, I felt like have of my time was spent on loading screens because the only way to get from one place to another was to fast travel

@brandon9507 Yeah, Kirkwall is very overused... I'm just happy for a change of scenery after playing Origins three times, while being on my fourth playthrough. I have noticed that every freaking cave or hideout has the same exact layout, with just a section or two cut off... But it doesn't make the game horrible, in my opinion... Preferences, I suppose...

@Itachisasukekiller No duh kirkwall is overused. it was about Hawke's rise to power. remember, hes not some legendary hero out to save the world from a deadly menace (ie; The Warden/Warden Commander vs Darkspawn) The Warden had to travel an entire country (in a quick amount of time i might add). Hawke just wants to make a new life for his family in Kirkwall which is why the environments are different in Origins.

@KidFlash2300 Well, yeah, but they could have made the surrounding areas more, and perhaps made things vary more. Turning all of Kirkwall into a place you could explore, rather than just sections, would have been much better, for how repetitive the places you had to go were. It takes place in the free marches... There are 8 other known cities within the Free marches, and, on top of that, Starkhaven is talked about all the time. They could have made the game have more variety, if they chose to.

@KidFlash2300 DAO story was good. DA2 story sucks ass. It's an RPG, in this genre the story is very important. DA2 had a better combat system than DAO. If this game was DAO's story inside of DA2's mechanics, it would be amazing.

@BelievetheSt0rm i admit the story couldve been better with some fine tuning, but it didnt completely suck. people have to realize it wasnt supposed to be game of the year material. The events from Origins and DA2 will all lead up to the plot of the Chantry vs Mage. Thats why in the beginning, Cassandra said " The Champion was at the heart of it when it all STARTED!" Thats why it ended in a cliffhanger. The cliffhanger was bullshit i know but doesnt Bioware always come through? Stop Complaining
