@Bo0gA1a23 I feel the same way, lol. This music was so amazing. Battle Network 1 through 3's internet themes truly touch on the past too well. Especially 3's for me. Very soothing, yet very haunting that those days will never return. The same moments and feelings. Weird how a GBA chiptune can do so much to a person's senses. Just goes to show how great music can effect, in any format. What better format than MegaMan?
Uh wow, you're almost half a year behind then. Let's get you up to speed fast, because it's releasing in Japan next week.
It was announced this June. The name of the game is Rockman.EXE: Operate Shooting Star. It's a crossover with Star Force and a remake of the first EXE game. Too many gameplay changes to list. For one, Subaru/Geo is confirmed to be playable too.
Just search over at The Megaman Network site for a bit and you'll figure out everything you need to know.
Meh, I'm all for it if it's going to convince them to reboot EXE again. You've seen the article where the series producer is considering doing just that, right?
Especially considering that Star Force has pretty much ended (except for a few loose ends that the post-game in SF3 introduced, but I doubt they're going to go anywhere with that considering EXE 3 did the same thing with Serenade).
SF pretty much bombed in Japan after the first game when compared to EXE.
They couldn't compete with the sales that EXE 4-6 had. The later three EXE games sold about 600k+. The first Star Force made it to about 590k. The other two tanked below EXE 1-3 (which did 440k+) to below 300k.
It's no wonder they want to come back to EXE again. But I wonder what the series producer meant when he said that he wanted to do more with Rockman.EXE.
Most likely for the US at least. EU hasn't recieved Star Force 2 and 3 from what I've heard.
Sales of Star Force are at least decent enough to bring this to the US. This is a main series game, and does not have some sort of add-on that would complicate things (like what 4.5 had).
Not to mention that there's going to be a HUGE outcry from the English EXE community if this does not make it across.
Even though this was the only theme for the cyberworld (as opposed to the internet, undernet, and secret area set-up) I liked the feel it gave off, not sure why.
i am now the proud owner of at least one version of all the battle network games!
:)

This theme really made you feel like you were surfing some sort of internet cyberspace... the other themes can't compete.

I've never played EXE 1, but I'm planning on getting that remake.
But wow, this is radically different than all of the other internet themes. In a good way.

Guess we'll figure it out next Summer or so.

If you could upload the "frozen theme" (when you're looking for the pump program or w/e) that'd be great >_>
It's the same zone/area where you meet iceman, but I don't want his music, just the internet theme for there.

Haha, really great to hear this again. 'Back in the days' I always though this was a boring theme, but now I like it :).
