This song would work well for POTO, except for the part where Lucy is singing about Dracula aking about Mina and talking as if he knew her; that makes no sense with Erik and Christine.
Judging from comments, I guess I'm not the only person who loves this score. When it played on Broadway at the Belasco Theater, the balcony tickets were not too expensive -- i ended up seeing 8 times! Was at the closing performance, where all the groupies showed up to cheer. .... now that I've gotten that off my chest, i have to ask: I thought the studio recording (which I assume is still unreleased) had Raul Esparza as Drac...? (Happy to hear Barbour, who I think is better for the part.)
Where did you get the first recording of Wildhorn's Dracula? We saw the production at the Belasco when we were in town a few years ago but I've been unable to locate a copy as we don't live anywhere near New York. If you'd be so kind as to pass along where you found it, I would be most appreciative! Thanks!
I got this song from the first recording of Frank wildhorn's Dracula..a new recording is scheduled for this year,, I believe...I read it in his site! can't wait!
love it
