Very very well done. I really liked that you included both Mass Effect 1 and 2 and male and female versions of Shepard. It added a lot to the video. Only issue (if you can even call it an issue) is that I felt the clips were moving too fast at some points. But that's just me trying to give some kind of constructive criticism and that's the only thing I can find wrong with it. Again, very well done.
@VeritasAequitas1490 Yea, still a novice with Vegas, so figuring out how to make the speed ups look a bit less ... weird was difficult. But I'm glad you enjoyed the vid otherwise. Your's inspired me!
@silentstephi Haven't heard of Vegas, to be honest. I used Windows Movie Maker for mine. >.> I have a copy of Adobe After Effects but when I opened up the interface I got, well, overwhelmed. I really do need to play with it, though. And I'm really glad mine inspired you! I kind of thought you were referring to me in the description, but I didn't want to just assume that and come off as arrogant if I was wrong. Oh, and also, there's definitely no hard feelings. ^_^
@VeritasAequitas1490 Yea, when I first tried Adobe's AEs, I had no idea what was going on. WMM was the program I used for my Garrus vid, Sony Vegas for this one & my Thane vid. Vegas is definitely not as bad as AAE, but it has more options than WMM. Just translating them into terms I can understand... there's the "fun" part. And hooray that there's no hard feelings! I wasn't sure what the protocol was for video making... so I was a bit nervous. I didn't want to come off looking like an ass
@silentstephi Sorry, one other thing. Would you mind if I asked where you got your clips from? I really felt limited by the clips I had but I didn't know where to go to get more.
@VeritasAequitas1490 All my clips are from my own gameplay. I have a lot of Shepards, I used Seamus (the dude) and Steph (the chica) as my base pair for this vid. I use FRAPS to record in game footage, it's a really great program!
@silentstephi Ah ok, I had heard of FRAPS, but unfortunately I don't have Mass Effect for the PC; I play on XBox. Oh well, I intend to start on another video soon (not with Mass Effect though), as soon as I can figure out how to successfully rip DVDs onto my computer...
Haha, of course you didn't come off looking like an ass! I was just excited people were even watching my video; the fact that it inspired someone to make one of their own was amazing to me. ^_^
Great song and great video! )
