thank you... Rush are my favorite band.. I am a GIGANTIC Rush fan.. I mean, I love this band.. I don't know ghost of a chance.. but I do know other songs from that record.. like where's my thing.. problem is.. I cannot do all Rush songs well enough for youtube..Rush fans expect the songs to be perfect.. and I generally don't play them perfectly.. thanks for the comment.

yes, hipshot hardware.. I did not choose this stuff.. it was already on there.. but I think it's the best sounding bass I have ever played.. I got this used.. and the hardware was already installed.. I can see where the original tuners were removed, even.. light years ahead of the fender standard hardware.

i'd be interested in knowing what plays better, the hipshot or the leo quan. because my jazz bass has a leo quan badass II, and it for sure sounds better than the fender standard, but i feel like it's still missing something.

thanks much.. I cannot really compare the Quan.. I say this b/c I would need the Quan on the Fender P. the Fender P compared to the Geddy Lee Jazz I have with Quan.. is like comparing a VW Bug to a Cadillac.. I personally will always choose the hipshot bridge.. my strings never come out of it.. and Quan, I don't think, makes tuners.. so, I like with hipshot, that I can get both bridge+keys. But this bass came with hipshot.. I would give edge to hipshot, but comparison is unfair-2 diff basses
